I was all for the war in Iraq and afghanistan, I supported bush all the way. Now its time to end this crap and personally I couldnt care less what happens in afghanistan. Let karzai fix his own mess.

if present wisdom indicates that the "objective" is practically unattainable, it would make sense to limit the sacrificing, don't you think? The first thing folks should do when they figure out they are in a hole is to stop digging.
