Afghanistan will revert to being a terrorist haven after withdrawal, US report warns

And... for the record, Higgins was serving as Senior US Military Observer, US Military Observation Group, United Nations Truce Supervision Organization when he was kidnapped right outside the town of Tyre in 1988.

Definitely in harm's way....

I'm glad you agree.

And your point was......

Moron.

my point was.... you believe that a man serving in that capacity served in harm's way.

I am glad you think that way.

Having said that, I served with the US Military Observation Group in Lebanon from January 1981 until July 1982. I served in Observer Group Lebanon and was the team leader of the Crisis Mediation Team in Tyre... and I was the senior US representative on the Israeli-Lebanese Mixed Armistice Commission in Beirut. I was kidnapped and shot at and routinely went into the midst of fire fights with the express purpose of getting the combatants to stop shooting at one another.... so I guess you'd have to say that Higgins and I had very similar tours spent in harm's way.....

so... you don't know shit from fat meat about what being in those situations are all about, yet you gleefully call for more Americans to be sent over to do work that you, yourself, were, apparently, too frightened to do yourself.

LMAO; that is a whale of a tale if I ever read one Commander dimwit. But hey, thanks for the laugh.

Where have I gleefully called for more Americans to be sent over to do work that I am too frightened to do shit-for-brains?

There you go once again making strawmen up in an effort to remove any doubt what a dishonest stupid ignorant pathetic dunce you are.

You really are too repugnant for mere words you know that?

You're a moron of epic proportions with an incredibly low IQ and misplaced high self-opinion.

Is the Pentagon full of chicken hawks too shit-for-brains?

Barack Obama and Pentagon split on Afghanistan pullout

US president set to reject military advice by withdrawing more troops from Afghanistan

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon has proposed to President Obama that 10,000 American troops remain in Afghanistan when the international combat mission there ends after this year, or none at all, senior government officials said Tuesday.

Military Seeks to Make Case Against Too-Hasty Reduction of Troops in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON — With a major internal debate gathering inside the White House over how quickly to reduce the size of the American fighting force in Afghanistan, the military pushed back on Monday against the prospect of a substantial withdrawal, arguing that to leave too early would imperil hard-fought gains.

let me get this straight. I said I served with the UN in Lebanon and you are calling me a liar? Is that correct? You are saying that I made the details in my last post up and that they are fictional?

Is that or is that not correct?

Is that what you said dumbass? I could have sworn there was a LOT more to your story than that. Try again you repugnant dishonest dumbass.

And I'm sure you've read lots of stories about them and wished you were one.

there were times when I wished I wasn't.

Again.... if you want to say that I am making shit up, then everyone is making shit up and nobody can be trusted to tell anything about their lives as it relates to the topics here.... if everything ever writes is assumed to be fiction, why do you bother reading anything here? Why not just go get a good book?

Is that what you said dumbass? I could have sworn there was a LOT more to your story than that. Try again you repugnant dishonest dumbass.

Are you suggesting that I made up any details about my service with the UN? Are you calling me a liar or not?

don't tap dance... either call it that way or don't... but don't waffle.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, I'm sure you did and then you closed the book and you weren't any more.

Because your stories are like the never-ending story. :)

The Multinational Force in Lebanon (also MNF) was an international peacekeeping force created in 1982, after the demand was made by Lebanon to the UN's secretary general, and initially to oversee the withdrawal of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The participants included contingents of United States Marines and Navy SEALs, units of the French 11th Parachute Brigade, the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment, the 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment, the 1st Foreign Cavalry Regiment, other units of the French Foreign Legion,[1] Italian soldiers, and British soldiers. The force was dissolved in March 1984, soon after the October 1983 Beirut barracks bombing.

I guess the Commander is trying to claim he is a Navy Seal now. ;)

I guess you don't do thorough enough research, moron.

now... to finalize it with you as well... are you saying that I have made up the details of my service with the UN? Are you calling me a liar?

don't tap dance... either call it that way or don't... but don't waffle.

I’m suggesting that your claims are nothing more than an immense tale for the express purpose of pulling this debate further off topic with no other purpose than your typical dishonest bullshit.

I don’t need to tap dance dumbass; that is what dishonest morons like you do when you spam threads with your glaring ignorance.

I am suggesting also that based on your history of dishonesty on this forum, it requires a naive gullible person to believe any of the bullshit you post here.

I am suggesting that you are the most repugnant, low IQ, dishonest hyper partisan moron I have ever met on an internet forum.

So without any credible evidence to support your emotional hysterics, I am not buying your bullshit one teensy weensy bit Commander dumbass, not that it makes your laughably stupid claims any less stupid. Let's not forget, the premise was that Afghanistan will revert back to being a terrorist haven and none of the unadulterated bullshit you have posted here refutes that fact.

You're such a pathetic and repugnant dumbass.
