I have never ever said that. A large portion of Hispanics are Catholic. The GOP can appeal to them based on shared (religious) values.

George is the consummate Beltway country club conservative. Probably doesn't even drink beer.

They make up Democratic voting blocs because they want and get free stuff .. Catholics aside. And the people who always pay for it are the ones in the working middle class.

I've used that analysis for decades and it works..

Trump has the caustic message "we're in trouble!"
Clinton has the establishment message "we just need some more programs"

You can even see it in the themes: "make America great again" or
"What we need to do is make America whole again so we can all go together." - BillClinton

He also goes to Georgetown cocktail parties and I always wanted to go to one so I can stand next to Peggy Noodlehead and goose her .. but I never get invited .. LOL.

You have to take a step back and look at the numbers. White working class workers alone are not enough to win a national election. That's just a factual statement.

Demographics have completely changed in our country. Minorities made up a much smaller percentage of our electorate when Reagan won. Republicans can't win getting the same percentage of the white vote today that Reagan got when he won. Republicans have lost five of the last six popular votes in Presidential races. The party has to do stronger with minority voters or else we will really struggle to win again.
