Strategy? I'm talking about the principle of someone doing something I support. I never voted for Bill Clinton and I didn't support him but I'm not going to call him out for cutting the capital gains tax when I supported him doing so.

It was an example. That shouldn't be hard to understand. Trump is going after union votes while losing pro free market votes. Think that's a good trade off?
