Clintons bump now not only exceeds Trump's, it's lasted longer. Trump was ahead in the polls for a total of about 5 days (this is counting a period of time when the polls said they were tied). Clinton had been ahead for the past 9. For the past four days she's been plateaued at about 7 points ahead, this is different than Trump's very sharp rise and drop after his convention. I am guessing that she's making some genuine gains here that are cancelling out what would have normally been her fading bump.

Silver is over rated. Instead of relying on national polls and the opinions of so called experts he analyzed the electoral college State by State.
