Spreading democracy was the same Bush mantra in Iraq..what COMPLETELY slays me is all the cries of "blood for oil"
all the demonstrations, all the protests dissolved when the Dems did the same thing.

BUT at least THERE was a VOTE in Congress ..

The US just stopped bombing Libya again about 3 days ago ( Sirte basin)

You are very confused, you are mixing up U.N Security Council resolution #338 (1973 dealing with a cease fire in the Arab–Israeli War) with U.N Security Council resolution #688 (1991 dealing with a no fly Zone in Iraq). Tell me again how your blog will save us all from our ignorance.

You're right on all points about what happened in Libya. It should also be noted that Saddam also wanted freedom from the dollar .. that meant he had to go.

Iran wants freedom from the dollar .. now we want to nuke 'em.

Libya, Iraq, and Iran have all been 'friends' to America .. until they mess with the dollar.

Thank you brother, but I'm a socialist because socialism = people first.

Socialism brought healthcare, education and literacy to Libya, Cuba, Bolivia and much of the third world. Capitalism brought death and horrors.

Like Einstein, I believe that democratic socialism is the most sane form of government. Unfettered capitalism is nothing short of evil, and it has a very long history of wars, death, and destruction to prove it.
