Renewable Energy Sets Record in USA

why do you hate excellent energy investments

because you know Russia has lots of oil

keep deep throating that Russian deep state

Apparently you either didn't read the link provided or you didn't understand it. Your anger suggests the latter

Let me hopefully explain it in a way you can understand.

Fossil fuels are energy dense. Wind and solar are energy diffuse. This means there is much energy packed into fossil fuels than these so called alternatives.

You think technology is going to magically overcome the laws of science? They are not.

There is no such thing as renewable energy. It is a myth

Solar and wind technologies have been around for hundreds of years. They are a pipe dream with regards to large scale energy productions the likes of which are required to power our economy.

The real answer as to what a failure these technologies are is to follow the money. If there were truly a market then all sorts of private money from Warren Buffet types would be flowing in. But it isn't. It is taxpayer money.

You cling to your myths.

LOL

That's really silly. Seriously - you're definitely one of those guys who said that computers would never have a practical use for most people, or that TV was a fad.

The idea that science will not radically improve our ability to harness solar, wind, tidal & the rest is practically medieval in its stubborn ignorance. Again - it ignores all of human history. At SOME point in the future, it will have to - oil may disappear in 50 years, or it may take 1,000, but it's a finite source any way you slice it. Mankind's hand will be forced at some point.

But it doesn't even matter - what you wrote above is nonsense. The sun & wind are literally endless sources of energy. "Science" will continue to improve how we harness those sources to a point where they become a viable and affordable source for all of our energy needs.

that's just silly.....did you know that 35% of Iowa's electric power is now supplied by that mythical energy?......

I don't know how good a lawyer are you but you know little about The economics of energy production.

"Four bottom lines up front:

It would cost over $29 Trillion to generate America’s baseload electric power with a 50 / 50 mix of wind and solar farms, on parcels of land totaling the area of Indiana. Or:
It would cost over $18 Trillion with Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) farms in the southwest deserts, on parcels of land totaling the area of West Virginia. Or:
We could do it for less than $3 Trillion with AP-1000 Light Water Reactors, on parcels totaling a few square miles. Or:
We could do it for $1 Trillion with liquid-fueled Molten Salt Reactors, on the same amount of land, but with no water cooling, no risk of meltdowns, and the ability to use our stockpiles of nuclear “waste” as a secondary fuel."

dear fucking idiot

once in place it produces energy at very little cost to the owner of the in place infrastructure.

that means it cost effective compared to lots of trucks and tunnels

things like oil rigs and lots of digging

why do you HATE wise business practices?

oh yeah you are a nihilist

fuck you very much

If this is such a financial windfall why isn't Warren Buffett investing.

Fenderhead, I have forgotten more about this subject than you or other wannabe's will ever know. Now that you back to "laws" again, this time science ( you keep grasping at straws there, just proves to me you do not know shit about this or anything energy related) where is your proof that any of these defy the laws of physics or thermodynamics? You seem to avoiding that like the plague. Do yourself a favor before making yourself look even more stupid and take the time to look up the worlds largest solar thermal plants. Then come on back.
