I'll check around on that. But, if they can get in by boat they should open up. Boats are the main transportation right now.

Red Cross has opened 2 shelters already in Dallas. I'd be more than willing to apologize to both these guys if they open up their facilities.

That is definitely, without question a severely flooded facility. It would be irresponsible to bring people inside. I also have further read that Osteen will use the upper areas as a distribution area for other shelters and ministries who are better able to serve the displaced such as The Samaritan's Purse headed by Franklin Graham. I stand corrected and apologize to Osteen regarding the non-opening of his church.

Coordinating with the city, Lakewood is a collection site for distributing supplies to the Houston area shelters.

Beginning at 12 Noon tomorrow we are collecting infant and adult diapers, baby formula and baby food.
