So damn giggle-worthy reading a white racist like you calling other white people a racist. :0)
it's part ( not all -you didn't address the full post) of how out of touch they are to middle americaWhy do you idiots keep bringing up how much money they have?
Are you of the opinion that once people make money, they should shut up about inequality or any other issue that bothers them? That they should just be happy and keep quiet?
Please expound.
thanks for a nothingness response.we're talking messaging here.Protest isn't always popular, dopey.
MOST Americans were for the invasion of Iraq also, and against the protestors. Who was right on that one? Should the protestors have "shut up?"
Grow up, anatta.

stay out of what you don't understand
Civil rights in the '60's was "out of touch" with middle America. Opposing Iraq was.
Grow up. Protest isn't comfortable.
"Organizers understood you have to have a singular message you can drive home. STOP THE WAR.NOW.
not a bunch of shifting hostility to the flag/Trump/whatever these guys struggle with"
There were no single "organizers" .. there was no single message as the Vietnam protests took place in the middle of the Civil Rights Era.
There was LOTS of shifting hostility to not only the flag, but also to the military and the American government.
You haven't asked me what the message was because the message is abundantly clear no matter how much you and the right try to ignore it. The murders of innocent and unarmed African-Americans by the police
If you don't believe the protests are valid, or you don't know what any of this is about, or you believe this is just grandstanding my black athletes who make too much money .. I don't care.
Where is the argument?
What is your message?
because it gets lost in "unity" and otherwise..you guys need a better message. "Stop killing us" -something like that. The murders of innocent and unarmed African-Americans by the police
The Vietnam war was a real thing though lol.
complexity is not wanted for protesting..you need a straight forward mantra type saying.Yeah - I know this message is too "complex" for your simple mind.
You don't understand how players can be "unified" too as they protest. Too much for you.
you keep making this more complex, and diluting the message. Others are doing the same. And there it is. What the NFL guys are protesting isn't a "real thing," per Darth.
There is no unequal treatment under the law. Racism is over in America.
Who exactly is out of touch here? You know, in a few decades, you guys are gonna be in the minority. Better gear up.
there were most certainly organizers. there were leadership like Viet Vets Against the war. Students for a Democratic Society ( i was part of that- SDS) -as well as crossovers like Yippies and Black panthers..
and Hippys of course, (but they were not organizers)..
Thanks for attempting an answer "shifting hostility" I used as a term for "messaging" -is this the message?
because it gets lost in "unity" and otherwise..you guys need a better message. "Stop killing us" -something like that.
I didn't say the protests had no validity -i said their validity is compromised and lost when you drag it in during the anthem.. You should do it at another time during the game, and you would get clarity of purpose and a much more sympathetic auduence
pablumCivil rights in the '60's was "out of touch" with middle America. Opposing Iraq was.

settle on a message
the problem is you are between a rock and a hard place. If you do it during the anthem, you get all kinds of blowback-it becomes unpopular and lost in the patriotism most of us want to express.. Which is why I mentioned doing it right before or afterwards, then you get coverage but still separation from the anthemAh, yes - protest comfortably, in a way that makes people happy & feel good. That will get a lot of press.
Completely ignores every year of American history.
And there it is. What the NFL guys are protesting isn't a "real thing," per Darth.

Well, the Vietnam war was only one thing lol.
I thought they decided on what exactly, they were protesting?
Why would it get coverage?
The only reason Kaep got coverage was because it was controversial. They wouldn't get more than minimal coverage w/ your "palatable" method.
It's so weird to hear you talk about protest that way. It's not always supposed to be comfy.
