The Meaning of Christmas...

The bible does NOT:

Prohibit abortion.
Prohibit gay marriage.
Say only Christians go to heaven.

It does illustrate Jesus attacking organized Religion using people to make money!
It does demand we care for those less fortunate.
It does command people to not be afraid.
It does herald a message of GREAT JOY for ALL PEOPLE!

John 14:6

Does not say what you claim. No need for resurrection, or forgiveness or Christianity.

That is the gift Jesus brought to ALL PEOPLE!

And ...

John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Yes, WHOEVER choses to believe/accepts his message of universal love.

No requirement of forgiveness, confession, devotion, following, conversation, repentance, heterosexuality...

My point was better than yours, so I made it instead of responding directly to your ignorant one. I'll condescend for you 1, Premise rejected 2. If pigs had wings they would fly. 3. If I am wrong does not make you right, there are countless other official religions and delusional ranting that as a logical possibility
might be correct 4 reason and science are on a much better trajectory for determining truth 5. the exegesis of your choice would have me dead despite my prior post to you making your god a wrathful immoral child unworthy of anyone's worship.

Enjoy your crassly chosen attempt to defraud a fantasy god contrived by ancient bedouins, dope.

While you seem to be really good at typing and stringing words together, you still didn't answer the question of "And if you are incorrect?".

The Bible doesn't specifically address a lot of things I suspect even you would oppose. Are you saying that means it's OK to do those things?

The Bible does say "a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his WIFE". It specifically condones marriage between a man and a woman not a man/man or woman/woman.

As for who goes to heaven, actually it does. Are you saying atheist or anyone else that denies Christ will go to heaven?

Guess you'll find out your wrong when you die. Hope you like the answer you'll get. I doubt it but you can argue with God. You'll lose but you can still argue.

Im not saying that if the bible is silent onan issue it is or is not okay, but im saying thise things have nothing to do with our individual relationship with God, because we are LOVED by GOD regardless.

I don't believe in a literal heaven.

The bible also says its better not to marry at all.

you have to forgive Jarod......he's a bit vague on what the Bible says because he refuses to read it......

That's exactly what you're saying. It's the typical leftwing argument of if the doesn't say you can't, you can. God loving everyone doesn't mean He tolerates sinning against Him.

Then you'll learn quickly that there is a literal Hell when you die.

Funny how you left out the most important part of that passage and only cherry pick what you want.

At least this idiot knows that, at the time, Caesar was "King of the Jews".

Pontius asked the crowd, "who shall I pardon" ... "The King of the Jews ... or the Son of the Father (English translation of Barabbas)".

"Give unto Caesar, what is Caesar's" ... Rome was an occupying military force and had no right to subjugate the Jews in their homeland.

the "roman empire" was "the beast" of that age. this is the final "beast" age. after this, judgment. a great day is coming. great and terrible...

He said the bible claimed it is better not to marry yet left out the first 9 verses of the passage that put the part he quoted in a different context than he made it out to be.

Mark 10

6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,

IIRC, Revelations says no one can predict when. But thanks for the warning.
