Trump’s Right: New Year’s Eve May Be The Coldest On Record

How is that BS?

I mean, they are different concepts...correct?
Well as somebody else stated, to climate alarmists extreme heat events are caused by climate change, extreme cold is just weather.

Climate change is more about extremes.

I mean, you're not serious w/ that question, are you?

The Goracle predicted an epidemic of Katrinas slamming the U.S. every year? What happened?

Your computer climate models have failed to predict the warming hiatus. What happened, Nostradamus?

The planet has NOT been THIS cold in 260 million years. I'd call that "extreme!".

Oh, I won't stand by Gore. He was definitely an alarmist. I'm not an AGW proponent.

But it's silly to see temporary weather events as anything consequential. Global warming/climate change is about patterns over long periods of time. A cold spell, or a warm spell, doesn't tell us anything.

You guys should understand the topic better if you're going to comment on it. Most on the right who understand it acknowledge climate change, but also argue that man has little to do w/ it.

Will I really?

Is that something you really see me doing?
Yes when crop harvest yields go significantly down, whilst the population goes relentlessly up and the price of oil goes through the roof. Solar panels would be next to useless in the winter months and cold weather is generally less windy, so the effectiveness of wind turbines will also decrease, prompting even more fossil fuel use.

In other words, you have no idea what you are talking about, and are simply regurgitating the issued talking points. Got it.

No. Actually, that's what anyone who knows anything about this topic understands.

I don't even know how to address the lack of knowledge in the argument that you're making, which is essentially that a few really cold weeks negates patterns over decades. Honestly, I don't get why you're even posting on the topic - you clearly haven't studied anything about it.
