Hermaphroditism is largely a function of genetics as well. This guy is a tool, who is just here to argue for the sake of it.

my experience is the less sativa the strain is, the more likely to happen.

clones are the only way to go. Once you identify your females, males can be kept elsewhere as a stop gap. starting from seed is a pain in the ass!

good question. Given a 100 years of selective breeding, you might be able to even bring up the potency of hemp grade seeds to something super potent.

mankind has done some amazing things in their search of intoxication after all.

The only reason to have males at all is if you want to produce seeds.

I went and read about stressed females from my go to guy, and it seems there are certain strains of marijuana that if you let the females go past the optimum harvest date they will go to seed, but all growers I knew, this was never a problem. I never grew any strains where this happened, but like I said, I have a green thumb and I checked my Trichomes.

and if your clones die, and you have no seeds remaining, having a male in a different area of the home is the fail safe.

you are wrong about the potency effect of plants that use their energy producing seeds. it is even visually noticeable, making me question your honesty here about being a grower. you will have far less crystals on a female that produces seeds. that is a simple fact any grower is aware of.

I grew a mother plant, no need for males, no need for seeds and you don’t have to believe me, I know what came out of my garden.
