It's very much alive and well here in Alaska. In fact if I still used it I wouldn't buy it commercially. Like you said it's way cheaper and the quality is quite good.

b) I don't get high. My belief in the properties of marijuana, be it medicinal or not are immaterial. I'm an unabashed advocate of personal responsibility. But I'm pragmatist enough to understand that good judgment comes from bad experience, much of which comes from bad judgment.
Wisdom is rarely innate. Most of the wisdom I've witnessed has been gained through experience, including my own.

Yet these sneering moralistic authoritarians deem ruthless arbitrary martial oppression as the preferred state of our nation.

What a pity they either don't have a dictionary, or aren't smart enough to use one.

Were it otherwise they'd know that the Creator endowed, Constitutionally enumerated, unalienable right of Liberty means:

the right and power to think, act, and express ones self in the manner of ones own choosing, provided that Liberty does not infringe or usurp the Liberty of another or others.

Yet these deranged, punitive authoritarians would rather usurp the Liberty of their countrymen, than extend to them the courtesy those betrayed countrymen already extend to others.

I have a friend whose child uses marijuana, her grand maul seizures have been controlled as a result. I am all for children using medical marijuana under a doctors care.
