Teachers & Guns? Seriously?

Bingo.... good point. One of the band guys present at the Las Vegas mass shooting said that they even had legal firearms on their bus, but didn't dare use them for fear of being mistaken for the bad guy(s). Instead, they just took cover inside and listened to the carnage.

Gee if I'm not mistaken the only times Dirty Harry fired his gun was at bad guys in order to protect innocents. That is exactly the kind of people that should be armed. :palm:

The psychos can use weapons on the same list to commit mass murder.

Reducing clip size just means they have to change clips more often. And guess what? Since the shooter is the only one with a gun, he doesn’t need to rush.

If the shooter encounters an armed teacher and has to stop and change clips, he’s screwed, isn’t he.

If he turns his back on an armed teacher, he’s screwed. If the shooter comes through the door of a class room and a teacher was instructed to keep their weapon trained on the doorway, he’s screwed again.

It’s not that your idea is a bad one—-it’s more like incomplete. But all liberals know to do is to grab the guns.

the logic is simple. Arming teachers requires additional sales of weapons. Any sort of ban or control would diminish sales.

Logic is having a final barrier in place for when the laws fail to protect the innocent.

No amount of laws are going to stop a determined shooter. So, logic becomes having some sort of armed presence to protect kids in the event there’s a failure in the system.

More often than not, the psychos are stopped by someone with a gun.
