It really does not matter. If Trump takes the 5th, his followers will praise it, even though he said talking the 5th is a guilty plea. If he does not and talks himself into a perjury case, they will say it is trumped up and a plot to take him down. His followers will back him . If he refuses to accept a subpoena and takes it to the Supremes, they will back him. it makes no difference.
