It is long since I read anything by Havana Moon, and I am encouraged in this long-ago decision to learn (from quotation) that he reads the equivalent of HItler's Volkischer Beobachter (Was it - don't know German?) The Daily (Nazi) Mail! :)

Oh spare me the dramatic straw man. There was a point not that long ago in human history they said the same thing about science. Academia is supposed to provide a protected environment where people are permitted to think outside the box. Even hypersensitive feminists.

You just don't get it, do you? We have just got rid of our first woman Director of Public Prosecutions because she was stupendously incompetent and politicising the office. She insisted that women should always be believed, and as a result hundreds of rape cases, maybe even thousands, have now been declared mis-trials because the police withheld evidence from the defence and couldn't be bothered to do their job. Is that growing a pair? She was far more concerned with getting convictions than seeing that justice was served. I'll bloody guarantee that you never heard about this, or the likes of Cliff Richard who is now suing the BBC and South Yorkshire Police for millions. He was accused by a lunatic and put through hell for three years.
