Factory workers lose jobs as steel tariffs put business in "crisis mode"

From the article:

"...analysts say that tens of thousands of American workers are likely to lose their jobs—and upwards of two million jobs are at risk—more or less as a direct consequence of the Trump administration’s trade policies, and the retaliatory tariffs that follow."

So unemployment rises, plus everyone gets to pay more for big-ticket things like refrigerators, vehicles, washers/dryers... and little things like nails, beverages in aluminum cans, consumer electronics, phones. So much winning it's making me dizzy.

Lol, nothing like a little fear mongering.

cool beans, trump is just another globalist by your own words

I don't feel a need to put Trump in a bin with a label in my head, nor do I feel compelled to exploit these workers to score political points. It isn't as if those who do care except to the extent that they provide fleeting fodder for the gotcha moment of the day. The company was benefiting from NAFTA sending steel jobs to Mexico and now they are paying the price for that. Karma is a bitch. You reap what you sow. What comes around, goes around. Take your pick.

That’s what happened to coal and steel in this country, but Trump is tryouts by to revive them with these job killing tariffs.

you do realize that coal and steel weren't non-viable........it was the environmental executive orders of Obama that were non-viable......

"The causes of this decline in the availability of rural health facilities are legion, but at the root of the problem is the crushing weight of regulation through the Affordable Care Act. The sum total of mandated automation, reporting requirements, shrinking reimbursements and increasing penalties for noncompliance with other mandates has left rural hospitals out in the cold. "

No, regulations and Obama are not the reason the coal industry is declining --- how about I let you read the reason straight from the mouth of a partisan liberal communist coal executive himself:

"Robert Murray, the founder and CEO of Murray Energy, said Trump should “temper his expectations,” given the way market forces — rather than regulations — have hurt the coal industry and reduced employment."

..but its much easier to tell a guy in West Va that the black guy is the reason he lost his job

you just pushing your right wing lie... "Now a new study suggests that the expansion boosted the financial health of many hospitals that serve a high number of the uninsured, especially in rural areas."

We will see an exponential increase in hospital closings if the ACA is killed.

My source is a reputable news outlet. Yours is a clickbait site, thirsty.

What, hospital failings or killing the ACA? They have already wounded it severely.

An exponential increase in hospital closings. Whatever happens regarding rolling back the ACA going forward will likely include off-ramp programs/provisions that will fill in critical gaps for the most vulnerable. Hospitals won't go bankrupt because women won't be getting a free mammogram.
