I don't feel a need to put Trump in a bin with a label in my head, nor do I feel compelled to exploit these workers to score political points. It isn't as if those who do care except to the extent that they provide fleeting fodder for the gotcha moment of the day. The company was benefiting from NAFTA sending steel jobs to Mexico and now they are paying the price for that. Karma is a bitch. You reap what you sow. What comes around, goes around. Take your pick.

No, regulations and Obama are not the reason the coal industry is declining --- how about I let you read the reason straight from the mouth of a partisan liberal communist coal executive himself:

An exponential increase in hospital closings. Whatever happens regarding rolling back the ACA going forward will likely include off-ramp programs/provisions that will fill in critical gaps for the most vulnerable. Hospitals won't go bankrupt because women won't be getting a free mammogram.
