Honestly, if the 'Republican' really used E verify, and it gave him the thumbs up to hire, then being REP has nothing to do with it. If he knew the docs were fake OR he didn't really use E verify, then it has everything to do with it. THE REP 'PART' is their hunger for ALWAYS USING CHEAP LABOR.
 
The reason illegals have been here since Reagan is the corporations needed cheap labor to keep pressure on wages to increase profits. THen they get all self righteous and blame the Dems for having this guy ride aournd on a school bus and vote a million times. I don't know how big this guys farm operation was, but usually owners know their employees very well.

Dems have their own reasons for illegals, I agree with you about Republicans too.
The answer is to build a wall as well as let ICE round them up and ship them off when they are criminals -not sanctuary cities. The wall keeps them from coming back

Just a side note ... Will the Employer face any kind of prosecution over his hiring of an 'illegal'?

If there is NO prospect of work here, why would he come in the first place?

I've suggested public executions by firing squads of Employers hiring non-citizens, but have found little support. After a few grizzly executions, I'm pretty sure Employers would fire their Illegals and hire Americans.
