Your claim is that is my argument. You've already acknowledged what I have. Jealousy is the result of you not having it.
In the end, your entire argument centers around things not being done your way and you not getting to do all the drugs you want. When you use phrases like "maybe if we come together as a country . . " proves that unless it's done YOUR way you think it's wrong. You only want to talk when people agree to your side.
Do all the drugs you want. Maybe you'll get some bad drugs and you'll die a horrible, painful death while the kids of the single mother with three baby daddies are asking your for a sandwich. All that to say that someone else's choices are not another group's responsibility to offset. Arguing general welfare means providing people with what they won't do for themselves or being their ATM when their choices produce results they either didn't expect or can't handle has, and always will be, an invalid argument.

And did you actually go to the site and check for SHOP plans? I did, and guess what I found? For the Anchorage area, for 49 employees with an average age of 45, Healthcare.gov's SHOP marketplace offers 28 FUCKING PLANS

There has been nothing but consistency with my stance on whether or not one person has the responsibility to feed another person's kids, provide them with healthcare coverage, etc. I don't believe it is and you, in an effort to claim compassion, disagree.

If you want someone without healthcare coverage to have it, pay their premiums. If you want someone else's kids who aren't feeding their own to have food, make them a sandwich. I'm not their ATM.

Everybody pays into healthcare. It can be a tax deductible HSA, or taxes but everybody pays into it much like SS. Those that choose to pay into an HSA must use the funds from that for their health care. All medical fees will be made available before a procedure is performed. That way a patient can choose how best to use his funds like any other consumer. Those that choose to pay a tax for their health care go to a doc who accepts pre-set gubmint fees same as Medicaide or go to a gubmint emloyed salaried doc much like a VA doc.
Anyone who utilizes hlth care after they've used up their HSA must pay into the taxable medical fund.
This is a system that should satisfy everyone form free market advocates (like me) to socialists (those that would use the salaried docs).
The key to its success is that everybody is required to pay into it. It would not be cheap, but it would be fair. I'd call it the Fairness in Care Act and ditch the Unaffordable Care Act.
