Why I don’t believe Fords story

What "talk"?
Perhaps when she testifies, everyone will find out why she decided to weave this tale, then "report it".... with no knowledge of anything but names...and not even sure of those....
People make things up ....women and men....**Why? Who knows for sure....but they 'do....
His yearbook, he posted it himself.

Again, why do you think it is a tale? What makes you think she is making it up? What reason does she have to seek revenge? Who knows for sure isn’t a reason to doubt this woman’s story.

I'm going with what she "claims"....if she can prove her story, she should do it...
Otherwise....

What about her leads you to believe she is seeking revenge and making things up? Why do you believe the girls that come to you with allegations but think Dr. Ford is lying. You know nothing about her, but think she is seeking revenge and is lying?

explains why the constitution is such an alien document to you nut jobs.

Personally I don't believe a lame duck president Republican or Democrat should pick a SCOTUS justice in their last year in office. Sorry different circumstances. But your whining was noted. :(

Fucking idiotic rationalization that would be completely reversed if the circumstances were reversed.

You guys were against "draft dodgers" when Clinton was in office...but dodging the draft is a fine thing with you assholes now that the abomination, Donald Trump, is your man.

When it was Bill Clinton under the microscope...you people talked about family values...now you extol a fucking abomination.

How can you hypocrites stand yourselves?

How would an FBI investigation work, when there's no evidence/facts? Where do they start? (False claims of sexual assault happen all the time...hurt feelings lead to lies, lies, and more lies, with the accuser willing to say or do anything to get revenge....unfortunately...)

Let them...the FBI...decide those things, TOP.

They may surprise you.

Oh...I forgot. That is what you assholes are so frightened of.

Apparently their puppet masters require this nonsense of them.

You would think at some point, they would grow enough self-respect to rebel.

I've already used this but you certainly have earned it.

The object is not to "prove" anything.

The object is to see if there is evidence that makes one side of this story seem closer to true than the other.

One of these people is lying.

I don't think it is Ford...but that is just a guess.

I want a further investigation to help me assess my guess.

You asswipes do not.

I am pretty sure I can figure out why not.

How do you know Herman Cain did anything wrong? All there were was allegations, no evidence was ever produced. He dropped out simply because the negative publicity killed his chance to gain the nomination and quite possibly defeated Obama.

This was a typical left wing hatchet job. And Ass party members like you support such mud slinging.

Bee Ess. trump didn't drop out because of negative publicity, he rode it out. My opinion is that Cain didn't want to gamble on having his past being open to scrutiny, and the possibility that he couldn't refute allegations made by the women.

Funny how you take allegations against Clinton as gospel but the guys wearing your team's jersey get a pass.

Not whining. Your attempt at clairvoyance is noted.

The Senate abandoned its duty to give Garland a fair hearing and either confirm or reject him. The man was a centrist who had the support of both parties. Your side played partisan politics and won. There's nothing good to say about that.

I find it extremely amusing that you would use Trump as an example of your argument.

But this is his quote on dropping out. ""As of today, with a lot of prayer and soul searching, I am suspending my presidential campaign," he said at an event in Atlanta. "I am suspending my presidential campaign because of the continued distraction, the continued hurt . . . on me, on my family,".

There were other things but the above was the important one.

Oh but it did not it did exactly what the constitution mandates the Senate do. This is what the constitution says!

"He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

Nowhere does it say the Senate must "give a fair hearing and either confirm or reject. It is entirely up to the Senate to decide when they will consider a Supreme Court Nominee. Is it politics hell yes and both sides have done the same from the beginning.

"The continued hurt... on me, on my family." Yes, that happens when your bad actions become public nationwide. He paid off two women and evaded questions about sexual harassment claims.

As in: Cain said he has “had thousands of people working for me” at different businesses over the years and could not comment “until I see some facts or some concrete evidence.” His campaign staff was given the name of one woman who complained last week, and it was repeated to Cain on Sunday. He responded, “I am not going to comment on that.”

Or how about this one:

"Last week, an Atlanta woman, Ginger White, 46, came forward to claim she had a 13-year affair with Mr Cain. Speaking to MSNBC on Thursday, Ms White denied they had been in love, saying: "It was a sexual affair - as hard as that is for me to say."

While rejecting any suggestion of an affair with Ms White, Mr Cain has acknowledged helping pay her monthly bills and expenses, and that his wife did not know about the friendship."
