HUGE!! Trump to end birthright citizenship!!!

It did not change the Constitution. It settled a case based on constitutional principles.

If you think this involved changing the Constitution, then they obviously can change it since Wong Kim Ark was declared a citizen.

The Supreme Court does not have authority to change the Constitution of the United States.

There is a conflict if you say the 14th amendment encourages illegals by making children of illegals born in the U. S. citizens but federal law prohibits encouraging illegals from entering the country. I don't think Congress can pass laws contradicting the Constitution.

Contextomy. Since you are not bringing up this new argument, I will switch to talking about that.

The 14th amendment does not encourage illegal immigration. Pres. Kennedy is the one that implemented that policy by executive order.
Congress has no authority to change the Constitution or to pass any law contradicting the Constitution.

Trump is trying to change the meaning of the Constitution through an executive order. The Supreme Court has the power to interpret the Constitution and has done so hundreds of times--so they obviously have the power to do so even if you disagree

No, he isn't.

The Supreme Court does not have the authority to interpret the Constitution of the United States or of any State. You are again denying Article III.

When a Honduran citizen gives birth to a baby in America the baby is Honduran. When an American citizen gives birth to a baby in America the baby is American. The Fourteenth Amendment specifically says that the birthright issue does not apply to foreign aliens.
How difficult is this if you can read it?

Then why are all those people born here American citizens whether from parents who are citizens, legal non-citizens, or illegals?

They are given U. S. passports, birth certificates, driver's licenses, voter registration certificates as American citizens. Those things which you say cannot happen do happen every day.

There is no nation called 'America'. There is no such thing as an American citizenship..

The United States government does not issue passports to illegal immigrants. They do not issue birth certificates, drivers licenses, or voter registration cards at all. They do issue licenses to pilot or repair aircraft, but an illegal immigrant can't get one of those either.

The Supreme Court does not have authority to change the Constitution of the United States.

But they have the power to interpret it. That interpretation may differ from a previous interpretation which changes constitutional law.

If Congress passes a law for which they have no authority to pass (requiring states to expand Medicaid), where is a check on that power to prevent Congress from passing that law? (assuming the president signed the law).

Those born in the U. S. were considered citizens long before President Kennedy.

America is a short hand term to refer to the United States of America. It is like the "Federative Repubic of Brazil," the "United Mexican States," or the "Russian Federation."

The United States government does not issue passports to illegal immigrants, but it does issue passports to children of illegal immigrants born here because they are U. S. citizens. The states issue birth certificates to children of illegal immigrants born in the U. S. and classifies them as U. S. citizens.

Those are diplomats and foreign dignitaries, you fucking moron. How many times does that have to be explained to you?

^Stupid fuck is in denial of 200 years of precedent.

HAHAHA. Yes everyone agrees the supreme court HAS BEEN "interpreting" (actually rewriting ) the constitution for 200 years. But they have no authority to do so. They simply granted this huge power to themselves! THINK

It did not exclude the native American. All people who are born in America is a native American. It is time to drop this PC term for the various American Indian nations and tribes.

The 14th amendment does exclude the American indian from being a citizen of the United States. Their jurisdiction is to their tribe, not to the United States. The 'reservation' system used today is the result of Pres. Jackson's theft of their land and the murder of anyone capable of defending the tribe, then forcing the old, the women, and the sick, to march hundreds of miles to a 'reservation'. Jackson later made a tidy sum selling the stolen land to settlers. Read up on the 'Trail of Tears'.

Today, due to various treaties that exist between the tribes and the government of the United States, many tribes are also considered United States political jurisdiction, and they can participate in national elections. This is due to treaty, not due to the 14th amendment.

Not "many", in 1924 Congress passed a law that made those people citizens. So, Indigenous folks get to vote now too.

Clearly american snowflakes will have to slaughter all other human life on the planet to feel they have a safe space.

The 1924 act gave some American Indian nations and tribes citizenship. Some were not. Treaties are what actually gave these nations and tribes citizenship.

The Supreme Court is not authorized to change the Constitution of the United States.

You keep saying that, they do however rule on the constitutionality of laws and executive orders that pertain to those laws. Nobody said they get to "change" the Constitution.
