Around the world, moths make kamikaze dives into light bulbs and open flames with such regularity that they have their own idiom.

Lefties just can't help themselves. We know who won, and lefties know who won. Here we are though, over a hundred posts, and lefties keep hitting this thread like moths to a flame.

IT IS THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE THAT PICKS THE PRESIDENT. Every fucking body knows that. It is a throwback to times of slavery that installed that stupid electoral college and it takes the power of the people away from them . If the Repubs lost on it, it would be thrown out next session of congress. Trump was backed by less Americans.
The next election is huge. It is the one that determines the gerrymandering.If the Dems win, they will create fair districts everywhere the Repubs cannot block them. If reds win. they will gerrymander their asses off.

You would be surprised how many lefties think it was some popularity contest that picks the president. Every time I mention how Trump kicked Hillary's ass 232 to 306, some lefty has to quote some other non related statistics.

I love getting lefties to talk about the popular vote. All I have to do is mention how badly Trump kicked Hillary's ass, and BAM! Some lefty spews the popular vote stats out like they mean something. I can point out that Trump kicked Hillary's ass 306 to 232, and BAM! A lefty quotes the PV stats like they mean something. I can ask what 270 to win means, and sure enough, BAM! Some lefty quotes PV stats like the are relevant to winning the oval office.

New England kicked Philadelphia's ass on first downs, total yards, passing yards, number of drives, average yards per play and did so with almost 8 minutes less time of possession. Should be give NE the Lombardi trophy? The final score is all that counts. In the 2016 election, the final score was 304 - 227.

The EV is the only thing that matters. It has since Washington's first election and remain so until those that now whine about it do something to change it.

You asshole remark about kicking ass totally ignores that she crushed Trump in the popular vote, which is the basis for a democracy. The electoral college is not a democratic institution but one designed to give more power to small states. In short, anti democracy and against equal power of the votes. The electoral college is a throwback and should be ended.
