Just in case any lefties forgot, Trump kicked Hillary's ass in 2016, 306 to 262. Hillary was worried that lefties might forget this truth, so she gave a special speech that has been recorded specifically for the left to watch:

Somebody ,somewhere made a prediction like that. Not I, and I have no interest in debating it. However Comey made him president with his stupid speech about finding new emails, which was not true. When I heard his press conference, I thought he just killed hillary. Until that point I was sure Daffy would not win. He was about 8 pts back and still crazy.
Everybody interested in politics is well aware of the atavistic electoral college. I guess you are telling us you just discovered it. But it gave the presidency to less popular candidates 4 times now. You only like it because it put Daffy in office,. If it put Hillary in, you would be leading the charge to eliminate it.

Well, that land area map you were using is just as irrelevant to winning as popular vote. The problem with your land area map is that those large swaths of red are in districts with just a few thousand people and many of these states don't have a lot of electoral votes.

County results don't matter that much. You can have Republicans win 11/18 counties but lose the state because they lost the big metropolitan area with more than half the state's population.

No its winning the majority of the popular vote in states to get their electoral votes that really matters. Winning a lot of counties or winning a lot of country land doesn't matter that much. For example my home state of Oregon looks really red but Hillary beat Trump very respectably here.

And so you agree that the counties are important; because if someone doesn't get enough of them, you may not get the votes in the Electoral Collage.

What exactly is "enough counties?" I'm going through the constitution right now and it says nothing about getting enough counties to become president. Counties just aren't a good indication because people tend to be packed into cities. What is most important is that a candidate win the popular vote in most of the swing states. Most of that red on the map doesn't even matter because any vote over 51% in any state is irrelevant.

Trump kicked Hillary's ass! Go Trump! All Hillary needed was 270 to win, but she only got 232. Trump easily got 306, which means he absolutely kicked Hillary's ass! Hillary lost, so this makes her a big fat loser. Hillary is a loser!

One of the reasons why I started this thread is because it is so hard for lefties to wrap their heads around what happened. Distraff is having a tough time accepting what happened, but this thread will help him sort things out.
