Those people folded perfectly into the Republican party in 1965 when Dems passed the Voters Right Act. They are Repubs in fact and in belief. When LBJ passed the act he said we lost the south for a generation. he was wrong. They turned to their real home where they are comfortable and in agreement.

That's also why they defend those tacky Confederate monuments; The monuments give them comfort by sanitizing and memorializing traitors with whom they share all the same values.
 
What did Trump do to make this his economy? It took over a year to pass a tax bill that shoveled 85 percent to the top 1 percent, It added 2 trillion to the debt and had no impact on the economy at all. Trump was bragging about it from day one and has not stopped. It is not his economy. It seems to resist his ham-handed tariffs.

My businesses manufactures sensors for industrial, aerospace, and medical uses. Whether you choose to believe it or not doesn't matter.

Business is good. Industrial plants are increasing their output, manufacturers like Boeing and Cirrus are doing better (a new manufacturer of small aircraft is opening up on our field soon!), and the need for medical devices is greater than ever thanks to an aging population.
