that is part of it, another is that they get all of their news from Samantha Bee and Rachel Maddow.. That compounds things tremendously.
They never seem to learn. They still think pollsters are telling them something important.

Hey - remember that time a month or so ago when Adam Schiff said on the Senate floor that in a time of crisis, we can't count on Trump to look out for anyone but himself?
Yeah. Good times.
I'll be shocked if testing begins in any meaningful way. They are deliberately holding back.
I think they are mobilizing as fast as they can and would have 6 weeks ago if the emergency had been called then when it should have.

Maybe Brad is jealous of my daily updates which are informative and fact based?
Yeah, too little too late. Meanwhile we have infected ppl spreading the virus far and wide.
We ain't seen nuthin' yet.
Sorry, but not too late...well for some people it will be too late, but in a nation of 327M Americans, it’s a small percentage of unnecessary deaths. Here’s the bright side of those inconsequential tragedies: Most are Trump voters...and may even be members of this forum.
The US is certainly behind the power curve as you’ve correctly pointed out, but we’ll catch up.
I have the utmost confidence our nation can handle it and over come it. This too shall pass.I hope you're right about that last sentence.

The main problem is as previously pointed out: a lack of preparation and unnecessary deaths due to a lack of leadership from our national leaders.
I definitely agree with that last. It's incredible that there are *still* ppl defending the [lack of a] response. The Fox misinformation has done a good job.
Even Fox changed their position. Once they did, Trump followed. We have President Tucker making our decisions.
7038 cases in the United States
97 deaths
1.4% death rate
Exactly where the experts said we would be if America followed what happened in Italy.

Moving much faster than H1N1 or any other virus we have ever seen. This was known 2 months ago, but our president refused to accept it until three days ago.

There is good news out there, and some reason for optimism.
Did I hear right that China has no new cases? People have been talking over the past week how we're headed for where Italy has been. What about heading where China IS?
I also heard that warm weather might have a diminishing effect. With spring just around the corner, this may not be as bad as we're all worried about right now.
It's a hope, at least.

Seems like most cases and deaths are among Crooked Hillary states
Then stop fearing the pandemic.
OTOH, cities would be the first infected, but 2-14 days later all of those Trump rally members will be presenting symptoms and up to two weeks later all of their friends and family. Should be interesting by Easter.
