Why Are the Highly Educated So Liberal?

Just look at your posts for evidence that the fucking stupid support trump. You make all the fucking excuses you care to, it's a well known fact that really the only demographic that Trump does control is the un educated.

I don't make excuses you stupid hack; I deal in FACTS. You should try it sometime. ;)

Yet THE HISTORICAL WORLD has never witnessed a successful SOCIALIST NATION. Things that make you go...…….HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!! And no the Scandinavian nations are not socialist nations....they are based upon FREE MARKET capitalism....that taxes the hell out of their small demography of working stiffs.

You want a current example of modern socialism in action? Look no further than the nation of Venezuela. In the United States look to the Blue States like California and NY......both on the verge of bankruptcy even through they have collected more taxes than any other states in the UNION. If socialism is so great...…..why the demand from these states to fellow collective states (the United States of America) to bail their asses out of economic disaster? Yet you want the entire Nation modeled after these great unsuccessful failed examples? One national emergency and these socialist states are crying like babies for handouts.

As you very well know, your killers get to work whenever anyone tries. Grow up, and stop quacking silly propaganda.

Post a link proving that American killers intervened in Venezuela.

Socialism dies because it is a death cult, America hating cabron.

People die from starvation and freedom dies from the death cult, Socialism

No - liberalism is the normal ideology of capitalism, whereas conservatism normally stands for the landowning interest, feudalism, slavery or whatever. It is socialists who point out the obvious fact that the value of a commodity derives from the necessary work needed to produce it, a large part of which is stolen by those who produce nothing, the capitalists. Modern American Republicanism is a quite normal development of capitalism-in-crisis, anti-democratic fascism, which aims to drug or terrify the mugs into obedience, as you know.

What an absolute pile of horseshit ... it's always fun to watch leftys try to explain Conservatism to Conservatives.

Almost as much fun as watching them support and defend socialism ... and make no mistake ... they really believe they can make it work this time.

Kinda hard to lead a political movement when you haven't even figured out which bathroom to use.

But thanks for the yucks ... some funny shit right there.

Indeed.

But, but, but, this time we will make it work.

Lol

Trump is not a conservative. He just believes in himself and how he can get more of everything. The problem is not Trump. He reveals what and who he is openly and Trumpys refuse to see it. In one healthcare rally, he showed utter ignorance and his love of hearing his own voice. I was laughing at the beginning when he said we are watching closely, very closely this invisible enemy. Just Trump showing how ill prepared he is at all times. But when he suggested mainlining lysol and other disinfectants, it went serious. That is sy=tupid and dangerous. Trump will have more blood on his little hands when Trumps try it. That was not enough. He suggested we should find a way to insert UV inside the body. The doctors were shocked as anyone should have been.
Trump is building a plutocracy, not a conservative agenda at all. He has no principles beyond how much more money and power the wealthy can grab. And he is frighteningly stupid.

“During Thursday's White House coronavirus task force briefing, an official presented the results of US government research that indicated coronavirus appeared to weaken faster when exposed to sunlight and heat.
The study also showed bleach could kill the virus in saliva or respiratory fluids within five minutes, and isopropyl alcohol could kill it even more quickly.
Mr Trump then hypothesised about the possibility of using a "tremendous ultraviolet" or "just very powerful light" on or even inside the body as a potential treatment.”

The word Lysol was never mentioned.

The president:

“And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute," he said. "And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?
"Because you see it gets in the lungs and does a tremendous number on them, so it'd be interesting to check that," he said.

He never recommended using Lysol.

“But White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany argued Friday the widespread criticism Trump received for his medical counsel was unwarranted, and accused the news media of distorting the president’s message.

“President Trump has repeatedly said that Americans should consult with medical doctors regarding coronavirus treatment, a point that he emphasized again during yesterday’s briefing,” McEnany said in a statement. “Leave it to the media to irresponsibly take President Trump out of context and run with negative headlines.”

Because you can't teach common sense.

There's a lot to be said for this. There are a number of people with fancy degrees that have brilliant minds and great book smarts but have trouble communicating with people and lack any sort of street smarts. On the flip side you have folks with limited education but great drive, people skills and entrepreneurial ability.

My father has a PhD and earned tenure as a professor (and then quit but that's neither here nor there). So as a kid I saw the academic side of life. We also know it's within these academic halls where socialism and even communism finds a passionate backing, real world results be damned. So while I definitely respect those who have chosen to further pursue their education I'm not putting them up on a pedestal as being above everyone else. (And it's funny because 'SC is ranked #22 in the U.S. News & World Report Rankings. I've had young kids look at me like "wow, you went there" and I just laugh knowing don't believe the hype kid.)

Those aren't the contemporary definitions of conservatism and liberalism. Next...

I had to wait for about 2 weeks to find out if I passed. Didn't even have to open the envelope.

If you failed they sent you an application to retake along with the notice letter ... so if the envelope was thin you passed ... if thick you failed ... luckily mine was thin.

Back in the 80's it was a lot longer than two weeks. You couldn't get a catalog delivery that fast.

Some of my most brilliant college professors had no common sense. That's why they are professors. Those who can, do.
