Why Are the Highly Educated So Liberal?

Yes but what is the point of bringing it up? Pretty silly to do that to do a "gotcha".

BTW, with some of those degrees, they can get a job as a therapist or a counselor, for example.

Ironic. He uses the word "liberal" to disassociate himself from the republican party....which is obviously a complete fail whilst spewing ignorant racist republican stupidity about a Liberal Arts degree. ..........they hate Liberal Arts because it has the word Liberal in it.

Does anyone really think this poster is liberal?

Classical liberalism is a political philosophy and ideology belonging to liberalism in which primary emphasis is placed on securing the freedom of the individual by limiting the power of the government.

The philosophy emerged as a response to the Industrial Revolution and urbanization in the 19th century in Europe and the United States.

It advocates civil liberties with a limited government under the rule of law, private property, and belief in laissez-faire economic policy.

Both modern American conservatism and social liberalism split from Classical Liberalism in the early 20th century.

At that time conservatives adopted the Classic Liberal beliefs in protecting economic civil liberties.

Conversely social liberals adopted the Classical Liberal belief in defending social civil liberties.

Neither ideology adopted the pure Classical Liberal belief that government exists to protect both social & economic civil liberties.

Conservatism shares an ideological agreement on limited government in the area of preventing government restriction against economic civil liberties as embodied in the ability of people to sell their goods, services or labor to anyone they choose free from restriction except in rare cases where society's general welfare is at stake.

One example of classic liberalism's beliefs regarding the role of government is found in Thomas Hobbes's theory that government was created by individuals to protect themselves from one another.

The Political spectrum should be a Triangle.

While, most people share elements of all 3.....

The Authoritarian Right, the most common in the World, who support Authoritarian force to limit Social Liberalism / Leftism & promote Social Conservative values.

The Authoritarian Left, the 2nd most common in the World, who support Authoritarian force to push for Social Leftism, and a Classless society.

The Liberals, the ones who support Capitalism, Freedom and Liberty, the least common in the World, who support nature, in which leads to class hierarchy, and social Liberalism by design.

These stores were closing before the pandemic......due to capitalism and greed amazon is allowed to monopolize the market and put these stores out of business.

I'm good with that. Amazon killed it with an idea I always had and they had the wherewithal to do. It is far more efficient to have a business deliver items
to people using logistics delivery than billions of ants buzzing around seeking out things. And for things that need the touchy feel before purchase? Those businesses will endure.

I don't feel bad buying a single box of dental floss on Amazon when I know that truck is driving down my street delivering everyone's needs too.

And yes, Witoldpilecki is a racist. In fact, he isn't just an ordinary racist, he is one committed to the task judging by all the links and whatnot.

I don't have a problem with a growing profitable company, but when that company doesn't pay taxes or pay their employess slave wages, then, has a say in our politics..........that's the problem.

One company should not have that much power, when it's allowed to monopolize that's what happens.
