Crowds flock to reopened Jacksonville beaches as Florida hits record coronavirus case

ROFL..you are so fucking weird.
The establishment Republican party served no one but the rich and powerful. Why in the hell you would want that back is insane.

Iback Trump's populism ( America first) -but am in no way atuned to McConnelland that crowd.
5 years from now I'll re evaluate and figure out which part of the duopoly is the lessor of 2 evils

Dude, Trump doesn't believe in "America First" any more than he is a Christian. He only believes in "Trump First"...and whatever delusion he thought up that morning when taking a shit. You know, things like "injecting disinfectants".

I know the GOP wasn't perfect, but it was better than what Newt Gingrich turned the Republican Party into and it was light years ahead of the Party of Trump.

Hello Dutch Uncle,

I don't get it.

I am not super rich. What I am is frugal. I never bought a new car in my life, even though I am now in a position where I could walk into a dealership and pay cash for most common cars. I figured out early on in life that car payments prevent savings. Instead of buying a new car, I learned how to work on cars, nursed along whatever I was driving as I saved for the next car. Trial and error led to learning how to discern a good car from a bad one. Only get good cars, keep them to the point of practicality, then find another and get rid of the old. Preferably, get the new one before getting rid of the old. That way one is never forced to make a deal by time constraints. Generally avoid dealerships because they have to make a profit on the deal.

Also figure the efficiency of the car. When you add up the cost of the car, repairs and maintenance, that's one cost, but after enough miles the biggest cost of a car is fuel (over the life of the car.) That means it is a cost savings to get the one with the best efficiency that will work for your needs.

Then learn how to hyper-mile. This kind of driving can cause your fuel to last 1.5 times to 2 times as far as impetuous driving.

Anybody can do these things. Most don't. They require thinking for yourself and making up your mind that this is what you are going to do.

The real reason most people don't do this kind of thing?

There is no instant gratitude. The benefits don't come right away.

Doesn't work for short attention-span people.

I find it irresistible. A lifetime of these kinds of habits will result in you being richer by thousands of dollars.

I love it when a plan comes to fruition.

Trump is "short attention-span people". His idea of planning ahead is to plan on declaring bankruptcy and walking away.

Please repost the current figures on May 15th. You do know that this disease has a long incubation period, right? Do you know that people can have it, not show symptoms but pass it to others for a week or more?

As stated previously, June 1st will prove to be very interesting. You're on record saying it will only be 40 or less per day. I'm guessing it will be ten times that.

Let's see who's closet on June 1st! That is, if you're still here. :)

FWIW, it looks like our nation will go over 62,000 dead Americans from COVID by mid-May. Maybe even by Cinco de Mayo.

Speaking of the past, remember this from last March 15th?

Trump weaseled out of the rallies after telling everyone for weeks that it's nothing worse than the flu and that the Democrats were making too big of a deal about it.

I think we're in for at least six more weeks of it; a first, second and third week due to the 14-day max incubation period, but, yes, it could be over by the 4th of July.

OTOH, we might have something to celebrate on Cinco de Mayo! Maybe even Easter!

The hospitals in Florida today have more available hospital beds than before Covid. They predicted 465,000 Floridians would be hospitalized, to date, 2100 have been.

Can't wait until the antibody tests are conducted and we can watch the mortality rate take a huge dive -- and reality will be apparent. This scamdemic was a bust.

I'll be here all right.

It's a beautiful 90 degree day here today. Glad Summer is upon us. :)

Awesome. Let's see what happens on June 1st. Party on, dudes!

If they're all going to die in this is a good thing to you you should be cheering them on. Chances are 99% of them will survive if they catch the Chinese virus. So what they're doing is creating immunity through antibodies. what would you say sealed up in your plastic bubble scared of everything the rest of the world will leave you behind.

If you spend all of your life being terrified of death, you never live.

If people want to kill themselves, that's their business. When they are willing to take me with them, it becomes my business.

How would they be killing you

Do you need a lesson on how viruses spread? It appears so, or you would immediately know the answer to that question. I'll humor you. Person A goes to the beach and encounters an asymptomatic carrier of the disease and is infected by them. That person goes shopping at a grocery store without a mask, and person B happens to be at the same grocery store. Person A, obviously uninterested in social distancing, decides to head down my aisle, and then coughs. Person B then get the virus, and likely spreads it to a bunch of other people. That one irresponsible person may indirectly infect a hundred more, and one or more of those may very well die. Does that clear it up for you?

Said when people are killing themselves indicating the virus is a death sentence. You didn't make the claim directly but your statement alludes to it.

No it does not in any way, shape or form. People are dying from this virus, and a person infected by the irresponsible idiots on those beaches could very well be one of those people. Based on your logic, it's okay for people to drive drunk, because not all drunk drivers kill someone.

What, so that's your number? 100%? If the illness is not the equivalent of a mack truck running you over you don't care?

No not even the illness, being out in public whether you're infected or not.

As far as We know this virus is rarely fatal based on the numbers of confirmed cases, we don't know the number of non confirmed cases.

I just don't take kindly to hysteria I think it does more damage than most things.

When dealing with an infectious disease, other people's health choices effect my health.

When you dealing with people in general in a social structure, generally speaking a lot of choices people make affect the health and well-being of others.

So thanks for stating the obvious.
