Why Is The Stock Market Doing So Well In A Bad Recession?

Bump that bad boy up and increased unemployment will do wonders for that huh?

The increased unemployment theme is questionable, sure individuals as Schnatter keep singing that tune, and there would be some effect, but the market will prevail, as long as there is a profit in the business, and demand stays the same, which increased money in circulation will aid, operating costs will justify maintaining employees

I don’t know who the individual you are referring to is but there have been multiple studies done that show jobs will be lost. If you think the corresponding gain in pay for the remaining folks with jobs is worth the trade off then so be it.

Actually cranking it up will increase demand and result in more hiring and expansion. Demand requires people to have money. That is why so many countries provided cash to the working class during Corona. We were among the cheapest.

I said there will be an effect, some jobs will be lost, and more money in circulation will have an effect, but overall, as I said, the market will prevail, if those businesses are profitable, they will incur and maintain most personnel inorder to compete

Of course it was.
The stock market was never the economy, nor a predictor of it.
...deleted Holy Link...You are so wrong so often.
Inversion fallacy. False authority fallacy.
There is a difference now.
None.
The market reflects huge corporations and does not show small business health.
It is corporations of all sizes. You're a liar.
That is where the Trump economy fails.
Trump isn't the economy. His actions, as President, however, have done much to improve the economy.
It is also where the market does not reflect the health of the overall economy.
The stock market is not the economy.

Price controls don't work. They always cause shortages.

Price controls never work. They always cause shortages.

Not a closed system. Price controls never work. They always cause shortages.
