I think this is the same tool that said since the life expectancy is 78 and the average age of Covid deaths is 78, it means they just died when they were going to anyway. You just can't make up that level of stupid.

Now, do they record flu deaths the same way? If a nursing home resident with two comorbid factors—and not expected to survive another 90 days, gets the flu and dies—how is cause of death recorded?

Anyone who dies with COVID in their body gets recorded as a COVID death. To the point of absurdity in at least some instances. The ones we know about.

The median age of COVID mortality is roughly equal to the average age of mortality [all causes]. Kind of an odd convergence.

At any rate, the point is COVID is a much greater threat to the 70 and above than it is to the younger population.
