A Confederate statue is coming down today

Somebody will have to try to explain how relocating a statue from a town center to a battlefield is 'erasing history.'

It's not very clear.

nobody is erasing history...

Another pussy scared of inanimate objects.

I fly various flags of the Confederacy. Please come and try to take them down.

Dynamite works.

If you go to Normandy there is an enormous German war cemetery at La Cambe near Omaha Beach. It is maintained by the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge and is the largest German war cemetery in Normandy containing the remains of over 21,200 German military personnel. Just saying as it puts paid to the lie that no other country would have monuments to the losers on their territory.

Looks like another symbol of the Democrat party has been removed.

Well, since they put it up, it's their right to take it down.

More meth I see

You are free to ingest, snort or shoot as much meth as you like but that doesn't change the facts.

In your opinion, which statues are okay and which need to be removed? Not specific ones, just a definition of what is PC and what is not. Do you even have a definition or do you just favor getting rid of whatever you don't like?

Well, the French are weird. Also, since the former CSA is part of America, it would be impossible to place their war dead on separate soil. That doesn't mean we should celebrate their cause.

The statue of a Confederate soldier, flanked by a cannon and ammunition, has stood at the county courthouse in Charlottesville, Virginia, since 1909, more than 40 years after the Civil War.

It was christened "At Ready," and the statue's installation during Jim Crow sent a signal to many that resounded for decades -- in a city that renewed its association with deadly racial violence in 2017.
Saturday, the statue is coming down.

The Albemarle County Commission is live streaming the removal on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

What a slap in the face to all the blacks who also owned slaves. Of which there were many. And also to these guys.

How many socks does a sock puppeteer to be a grand wizard sock puppeteer? Have you met Teflon Don? He's the resident psycho sock puppeteer. The guy is definitely six ways from stupid.

You could answer that question as far along as you are in reaching that level.
