The Democrats were free to try. The shady part is that they held most of the early meetings in committee in secret, closed to the public, shut out the Republicans from any sort of reasonably fair participation, and then when it was obvious--or should have been obvious--that they weren't getting any traction on going forward with an impeachment from anyone outside the Democrat party, they should have dropped the matter.
Successful impeachments are almost always a bipartisan thing. Sometimes they start out unilaterally with one party, then grow in support as evidence becomes available. In this case, the evidence was closely held or kept secret, witnesses and others called were cherry picked by the Democrats and any Republican participation was kept tightly controlled to prevent the foregone conclusion the Democrats wanted from being challenged.

I can give you Trump is a "terrible person." He certainly isn't a "crook" and so far hasn't been that "shitty" as president.

I'm talking about what the FBI has told us- That Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win, and Donald Trump colluded with Russia in full cooperation with Russia to pull it off, and they are also working together in an attempt to do the same thing in 2020.

It has nothing to do with mail-in ballots.

The Washington Free Beacon conducted oppo research on Trump early, during the primaries, but they quit because they found noting useful. Then the Clinton Campaign funded the remainder through their law firm (Perkins Coie) and Fusion GPS.
