The cops is supposed to radio in the tag # of any car they pull over. Or they are at least supposed to run it. So unless the cop was ignoring SOP, he would have known that the car was registered to someone listed at that address.

The idea that a US citizen should be forced to endure this sort of treatment when he is in his own yard at his own home is absolutely unacceptable.

You want to talk about freedoms, this is about as serious an attack on freedom as you can get.

Good point, because I don't. If people would just follow the teachings of Christ as well as the tenets of the Declaration of Independence instead of using race as an excuse then the issue would have been a historical asterisk long, long ago.

Then send this cop a bible and a copy of the Declaration of Independence (actually a copy of the US Constitution would be more appropriate) so he can study it while he spend the next 50 years in solitary confinement in a prison.
 
Also, is it not considered your christian duty to help those in need? And isn't racial discrimination creating a need that the rest of us can help with?

So, wouldn't the "christian thing to do" be to help try and change the current problems, such as this sort of incident?
 
The Christian and American thing to do is for people to stop pretending to be victims, and start owning up to their responsibilities. We don't know what the real story is with this kid and this cop. He may have been racing around town, and he might have lunged at the cop.

If the cop was black and the kid was white no one would be discussing the race angle of this story.

Its time for blacks to man-up and get over it. You don't see me, with Irish ancestry, whining about guys with English last names. My ancestors were getting their asses kicked by the Brits for centuries. When they came to America- same thing. But we dug the ditches, built the railroads, and worked our skinny asses off until eventually became the cops, the lawyers, and the politicians. We got over it so why can't some black dudes?
