Texas sues Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania over election fraud

interesting and I think SCOTUS will take it up as their exclusive purview to rule on interstate disputes
But i dont expect any remedy from SCOTUS no matter the finding

granted, our SCOTUS has always had a tendency to torture the interpretation of interstate commerce to exert federal dominance over everything, but even this would be a stretch

Why is Ken Paxton only suing the states that Trump lost?????????????????????????

I completely agree on the "torturous" interpretation of the ICC -but this goes to unequal protection -
or more directly to State legislature sole power to set election standards ( not the courts, not the sec of State)

If signatures can not be authenticated and verified, it is an illegitimate, rigged election.

IF my ass motherfucker. YOU sir are a traitor.

IF you had evidence you and all the other mindless Trump ass-licking traitors would have already presented it.

IF you had any courage and a set of balls, you wouldn’t be licking Trump’s ass .. which is the only argument you have .. the taste of Trump’s ass.

I'm not pleased at all that SCOTUS is even considering this.

Does anyone know what tomorrow's deadline means for the states in question? What are they supposed to respond with?

"Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to block the battleground states from casting "unlawful and constitutionally tainted votes" in the Electoral College.

Yeah, good luck with one

Yesterday the SCOTUS blew off Trump’s “best” shot at a Supreme Court hearing in a half hour, and now you think a Texas case that doesn’t even include Texas is going to get anywhere? Forget it, yesterday was Harbor Day, Congress will get the States’ official electors Monday, the party is over “chiwawa”

The state legislature did determine the method of selecting electors. The mechanics of conducting the election are not included in that constitutional provision.

"Last month, by a 4-3 vote, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered the three-day extension, citing a 1980s precedent where a state court ordered a two-week suspension of an election when severe flooding made it impossible for voters to cast ballots. The state Supreme Court invoked its power under the Pennsylvania Constitution’s Free and Fair Election Clause to ensure that voters aren’t disenfranchised due to a public-health emergency it likened to a natural disaster."

"WASHINGTON—The Supreme Court on Monday refused to disturb a ruling by Pennsylvania’s highest court that extended the battleground state’s deadline for accepting mail-in ballots, a win for Democrats that gives voters more time to navigate postal delays and avoid in-person voting."

Who is going to try to kill me?

Why not ask the Arizona Republican Party?

Arizona Republican Party asks Trump followers if they are willing to die to overturn the election. / independent.co.uk

Seems like a reasonable request of people who are willing to drink bleach and inject Chlorine to prove that the virus is a hoax.

Can you be counted on to die for your Uber-ignorant belief?

They really aren't. They are rejecting the cases with no votes or explanations.

That destroys the scare tactics of those who opposed the Barret confirmation that were claiming Trump's SC appointees had "pledged loyalty" to him and were going to help him steal the election.

If signatures can not be authenticated and verified, it is an illegitimate, rigged election.

The signatures were authenticated and verified before the ballots were counted. Just because people that weren't there during the verification process don't like the outcome is not evidence of failure to authenticate and verify. Courts require actual evidence, not whiney crybaby arguments.

The biggest problem for Paxton and Texas is if the Supreme Court allows one state to interfere and question another state's election process then Texas would quickly find themselves the subject of 40 plus lawsuits over Texas election procedures.

Good, then you have no problem if the signatures are checked again.

Transparency is not a problem.

This one hasn't been rejected yet, and they gave the states being named until tomorrow to respond.

Honestly, I'm not feeling good about this one until inauguration day. Trump is bad at just about everything - but he knows how to win.
