Rand Paul floats impeaching Chuck Schumer

"So if people want to hold President Trump accountable for language, there has to be a consistent standard, and to my mind, it's a partisan farce because they’re not doing anything to Chuck Schumer, not doing anything to Rep. I am surprised you would reference a professor from a school in Tennessee. Anyway from your own link: "the Court applied Brandenburg and said that before an individual’s speech could fall under the unprotected category of incitement to imminent lawless action, the speech must lead to “imminent disorder.” That is exactly what democrat politicians have been doing and the end result.

Paul is right of course.

If we start impeaching people for their rhetoric where does it stop? It’s just the latest instance where democrats frankly don’t GAF about what kind of precedent they set so long as Trump is the target. Who would have thought even Democrats would try and impeach an ex-president? For their rhetoric?
