Is an egg a chicken?

Which is a human being in the embryonic stage of development. You fall asleep during the embryology section?

Thanks for conceding an embryo isn't a human being. It's just a "human being in the embryonic stage of development".

‘Human being’ isn’t a scientific concept. All that science can say is all organisms begin to exist at conception.

Was this your best effort lol?

What began to exist at conception? The being?

Well again, you’re ascribing a metaphysical concept to ‘human’. All science can say is humans belong to a specific taxonomic category and these begin to exist at conception.

That said, I’m totally on board with human ‘being’ since science is incapable of explaining certain attributes human beings.

I am not ascribing a metaphysical concept to 'human'. Is your arm 'human' or 'human being'?

According to science, when brain activities that show consciousness are formed.
So you followed What scientific rule to determine when your children began to exist?
Let's see... One part of a human being meets another part of a different human being...which leads go a brand new unique, newly existing human being... Not that science?

Jesus fucking Christ, son. Didn't you pick up any scientific knowledge sweeping floors for 30 years?

A "human being" is known scientifically as Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Homo-sapiens-sapiens
Homo sapiens sapiens, in anthropology and paleontology, the subspecies of Homo sapiens that consists of the only living members of genus Homo, modern human beings.

You keep saying "began to exist". What, exactly, does began to exist? The human embryo began to exist after conception. That isn't the debate.

your strawman is on fire and you won't even throw water on it...

I accept your tacit confession you would not lift a finger to save a petri dish of blastocysts from a burning fertility clinic -- demonstrating you do not actually believe a human life begins at conception. It shows unequivocally even you have doubts about when a human life begins.

I acknowledge your tacit admission that there is no consensus on when a human life begins, and it is left to metaphysical speculation rather than rigorous scientific definition.

Agreed. All living things grow. All animals grow from fertilized eggs. None are born fully developed as the religious/anti-science people keep claiming.

The human embryo, the human, the baby, the eventual child, then adult....the human being....etc.....begins to exist.... It's a continuing process..unless it's interrupted....

Yes it's a continuing process. Nobody disputes that. What is the dispute is when did consciousness began? Religious folks say the "soul" begins at conception.
