"Hear me clearly," "America is not a racist country."- Tim Scott

first off everything is not infrastructure as Gillibrand claims.

I think we could agree on roads, bridges, trains, planes , airports and broadband.
The rest of this is political payouts, or sops just because the Dems like to spend trillions
~~

HS rail can be useful, but it's not even working here in Florida (Bright line)

Bright Line (inter-city Florida rail) is shut down. Too many people dying.
The tracks go right through downtown Ft. Lauderdale and along and crossing major roads.
Its not elevated or protected. I doubt if it makes it to Orlando Airport

then there is the costs. China runs a surplus -we have defict spending this year of 1/2 high of our annual GDP
if Bidens wet dreams get passed

Exactly, Infrastructure is infra *structuture*. It’s roads, bridges, grid upgrades—stuff we’ve put off since the nineties so we could build bridges in Baghdad and Kabul. These clowns are calling absurd stuff ‘infrastructure’.

Joe Manchin came through on nixing federalizing election laws. We need his sanity again.

The Republicans and those on the right love to take the littlest things and explode them as if it's the entire left and their beliefs.

It's an interesting phenomenon.

Dude, Nicole Hannah Jones won the Pulitzer Prize for her work on the 1619 Project. The New York Times Magazine has won awards for this project. There is a big push to have this work become part of school curriculum. The 1619 Project isn't the littlest thing.

I notice you did not deny you are advocating a status quo, while China rushes ahead.

I specifically said investment in infrastructure, and human capital (education, health care, etc.)

It is a fact of world economic history that building and maintaining economic success does not just involving building and upgrading airports, roads, and bridges -it also involves investing in human capital. China knows this, even if you don't.

That wasn't my point with tsuke, you have to read his posts about Dems v. repubs to see what I was replying to.

Btw, imagine how many billions the US can save by getting out of that A'stan money pit.
that damage is largely done, the hundreds of billions ( or it it a trillion) is blood and treasure we'll never get back.
I hate to say it, but it was a waste of good men/women as well

"investment" is nebulous to the point it has no real meaning. there is no shortage of money spent on education.
some of the most prolific cities on per pupil spending (I know Balto for ex.) turn out some of the worst results.
It's not about money in many cases.

Chinese students do well because China has a long tradition of reverence for learning,
and they dont poison their kids minds with Critical Race Crap, and calling them selves an illegitimate government
like many on the left.

Let me see some changes in attitudes, and more STEM classes in university before we even talk about more free shit

I acknowledge that you concede my point that public investment in human capital is a key to economic and national success.

I do not agree with you that Chinese are better than us, and Chinese kids deserve public support and investment more than American kids do.

where did I say China is better? they get better results -look at international rankings in STEM fields for ex.
it's not good, and getting worse
STEM Education Statistics 2019 – How the US Ranks
https://parentology.com/stem-education-statistics-2019-how-the-u-s-ranks/
A quality STEM education makes a difference — not only to the students it prepares but to the economy on a domestic and global scale. STEM disciplines foster curiosity and creativity while providing higher salaries and creating high-demand careers. Within the next decade, it is estimated that almost all of the 30 fastest-growing occupations will require at least an intermediate knowledge of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

So when looking at STEM education statistics in 2019, how does the US rank? Sadly, not so great.

According to the World Economic Forum,
40% of Chinese graduates finished a degree in STEM – twice the number of American grads.
To break it down further:

China had at least 4.7 million recent STEM grads as of 2016
India had 2.6 million as of 2017
The U.S. had 568,000

It’s also part of the human condition.

It’s also not ‘a white thing’ by any stretch of the imagination. Problem is, young people are being inculcated with that perverse nonsense. And it’s being done by people who should know better. They call themselves ‘educators’.

On the contrary, it's exactly a white thing, british to be particular.

"Race" is a reified equivocation fallacy started by the british to turn "family" into a competition so as to justify nepotism while slippery sloping for aristocracy.

By making their fool slave population think they were part of a larger group they could learn to forget they were slave slime of nepotists and aristocrats. After that it just stuck because everyone loved Darwin's spin off pseudoscientific field of study, zoology.

Zoology is a subjectivists interpretation, from before the field of genetics. Race functions as both the nepotist aristocrat's domestic policy and their foreign policy. It was always just a war scheme. Proof point on that being that; the irish were not even considered "white" until the fifties. There's nothing more "white" on this earth than an irishmen. If the irish were any more white you'd have to look at their food moving through their guts as they ate.

As a foreign policy they use it to justify their imperialism, colonization, and to destabilise their enemies. Most recently they funded the blm through soros because they believe we funded the IRA bombing campaign through Gaddafi. And frankly, maybe we did. They gunned the irish down like animals for protesting for the right to vote. (See bloody sunday.) I served in the military with dozens of people who made private contributions.

Now, given that they dragged us into a 100+ year economic war with russia over 4 dead british monarchs, it's safe to conclude it's either them or us now. The british hold grudges. They'll never forgive us if they even think we thought about funding through Gaddafi. We killed Gaddafi and let the brutish walk off with all the Libyan gold and they're still pulling this shit. Either you repeat all this very often and till everyone knows what i just told you or there will be no us and we'll topple.

Our politicians are losing control of us. We're not the idiots they want us to be. They're selling us out hand over fist to the british so that they can maintain control of us. Especialy the dixiecrats like hillbillary. The british own the whole media. You're all brainwashed sheep.

Jsyk, i like telling you where to find water just so i can watch you turn around and go drink sand instead. You'll drink sand purely because im the one that told you where the water was. You're already doing it. I expect you'll keep doing it too.

Keep it in mind.

That is all, you're dismissed.

Manchin is the thin line between a disaster POTUS and just a bad POTUS
did he say he's not gonna support HR1? *awesome*

The problem is, journalism has become a political movement.

No, i agree. Just like the bulk of the media, news agency's are pretty well broke. Theyre just political influencers of their owners and advertisers.

They recently learned from the hillbillary/trump election, they're not nearly as influential as they thought and have become just a pretense. While they cant actually influence as well as anyone would think they can, they can make you think that they are that influential. Like this and with a bag of antifa slime and drug trafficers to slam message boards like this one, they can make you think all these people were really this stupid that there was this whole blue wave bs that voted for biden. Lol

Dumbasses.
