Congressional districts are small. I'm talking about statewide elections, and Kamala played the black card, not the Indian card.

A lot of foreigners adopt Americanized names, easier for Americans to pronounce. I have several Japanese American friends who did so.

Nimrata is not hard to pronounce.

Some ethnic names are hard to pronounce in English, so I get that.

Also, when one is a kid they may not want to stick out with a strange name. When I was in middle school I sometimes wished my name was different, but I got over it.

Playing the game of identity politics, why should white people tell a woman of color that she can't go by a name given to her on her birth certificate and that her family called her? Kind of interesting to choose to be racist in the pursuit of proving racism. Or said differently "if you don't think America is a racist country, watch me be racist".

Where did I say anything about forcing Randhawa or others to use their given names?

All I asked was WHY did Nimrata Randhawa CHOOSE to go as Nikki Haley?
