If America is not a racist country, then why does Nimrata Randhawa go by Nikki Haley?

Well, four Congresspeople currently, all won re-election in 2020:

Ami Bera
Pramila Jayapal
Ro Khanna
Raja Krishnamoorthi

And our Vice President is half-Indian:

Kamala Harris

And you can check all the others here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:American_politicians_of_Indian_descent

Not a lot of Republicans on that list...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Congressional districts are small. I'm talking about statewide elections, and Kamala played the black card, not the Indian card.

Right, didn't he ditch his real first name, for a boring, Anglicized name acceptable to a Republican electorate?
A lot of foreigners adopt Americanized names, easier for Americans to pronounce. I have several Japanese American friends who did so.

80% and then half of the 20% hyphenate.

little scat piggy, you have been exposed as a racist fuck head.

You don't understand the assignment:

Finally, we examined data from the Social Security Administration on name changes. The administration was willing to give us data only back to 2010, which makes historical comparisons impossible. But the data for 2010 to 2013, combined with census data on how many women married each year, suggests that roughly 73.5 percent of women changed their names after marriage during this span, and the share decreased to 70.6 percent in 2013. This number includes both women who took their husbands’ names and women who chose a third option, such as hyphenating their name.

Nimrata is not hard to pronounce.

Some ethnic names are hard to pronounce in English, so I get that.

Also, when one is a kid they may not want to stick out with a strange name. When I was in middle school I sometimes wished my name was different, but I got over it.

oh I do shit piggy, you are a racist little scat eater.

Playing the game of identity politics, why should white people tell a woman of color that she can't go by a name given to her on her birth certificate and that her family called her? Kind of interesting to choose to be racist in the pursuit of proving racism. Or said differently "if you don't think America is a racist country, watch me be racist".

Where did I say anything about forcing Randhawa or others to use their given names?

All I asked was WHY did Nimrata Randhawa CHOOSE to go as Nikki Haley?

Usually horrible takes like this are reserved for Flash.

You're the racist here, remember?

Why did she change it?

But it's not her first name. So she's choosing to use her middle name instead of her first name.

Why is she doing that? What's wrong with Nimrata?
I go by my middle name...lots of people do.....;)
