The Insurrection Case Against Donald John Trump

The following appears in another thread but let's make it a thread of its own in light of the continuing denial on the Right that Trump helped attack his country.

l. The rally was a prelude to a planned march to the Capitol building where the Senate was in session to rubber stamp the election.

2. Trump encouraged the rally crowd, in the hundreds, to attend the closed session.

3. Trump said the purpose in attending the session would be to persuade Pence not to participate and in that way possibly block Biden from taking office.

4. But it was a closed session. We can assume Trump did not expect the crowd to obtain visitor passes.

5. Not only the session of the senate was closed, the building was closed.

6. The building was locked and guarded by Capitol police.

7. Trump knew when he sent them on their mission that the Senate was in closed session, that the building was closed, that the building was guarded. Trump might say he did not know these things, even with the Secret Service there telling him he should not go himself, and on that wobble would rest his one and only defense.

8. Only by attacking the Capitol could the crowd do what Trump rallied them to do.

And?

It not even arguable. No sense in arguing. These morons simply won't hold the criminal accountable in public opinion.
In a just world Trump would be tried and shot begging for his wretched life like a rebel in that Goya painting.

If you nitwits don't think that amounts to incitement this Board is not for you.

Yet anything trump says you would consider incitement but you don't question whether you should be here do you?

Let's try something, if I know that Arabs hate Jews and and an arab tells me a jew did something wrong, should I just blindly accept that?

You're right it's not arguable that trump said march peacefully and patriotically. I fucking love agreement.

.
I hold him accountable for behaving like an immature adolescent with his tweet storms and firing cabinet members in a merry go round of staff turnover. If he was more polished we wouldn’t have the Who’s in Charge administration.

Good. What you said are the facts.
