I think the democratic party should move on from trump. any attention they give him obi-wan's him for his base. if we were to forget him and move on to biden's agenda and the future, placing him in the past, it would relegate him to the dust bin of history.

If we keep making him an issue with who is prosecuting him, or if he can stay at his florida golf course we give him legitimacy. Shouldn't we just "ghost him"?

Democrats need to provide evidence that Donald Trump is a lifelong SKINHEAD.

And evidence of systemic racism other than that found in cities controlled by democrats for more than half a century.

And evidence that they can control the planet's climate.

A big part of the democrats problem with Trump is they believe what they tell each other about him. It’s a big reason Trump pulled the upset against Hillary: they consistently underestimate him.

To think Trump would send unarmed rioters into the Capitol to—to even do what? They were unarmed. It’s fever swamp stuff but they seem incapable of moving past it.

Why would anyone believe that those were Democrats or that the DNC encouraged or sent those rioters to overturn the election result that they have won?

The idea that Trump would send a small army of *unarmed* rioters into the Capitol to pull an insurrection is mainstream for democrats. It’s like wtf, to any sensible person, but they really believe this.

The 1/6 rioters were Trump supporters. If you want to talk about some elements of the left provoking them to riot, I can buy that because there is video of evidence on one lefty doing exactly that.

As even as he himself said on multiple occasions, he could do anything he wanted, and what we have learned, short of actually killing someone on 5th Avenue, an entire political party and major news network would defend him regardless

Did you actually think when Trump was ever going to surrender the Presidency short of doing everything and anything he could to hold on to that power? Biden could have won all fifty States and Trump would still be promoting a Big Lie, he did it after Cruz beat him in the Iowa primaries and he repeated endlessly leading up to the 2016 election that is was fixed and crooked

Well yeah but it's not about if Trump was trying to send them or calling them to invade the Capitol. It's what they believed and still do. That part is what's still dangerous.

There are 19 bellwether counties in the country that have never missed picking the winner since 1980. Trump won them in 2020. That’s just one ‘really weird’ thing about that election. People are naturally skeptical of it and democrats aren’t helping matters by trying to stymie efforts to investigate it.

You’ve bought into the caricature and it’s pointless to try and persuade you otherwise.
