Atlanta 'defund the police' backer has car stolen -- by kids in broad daylight:

No, they're unemployment benefits because you cost them their jobs when you couldn't control the lies that came out of your mouth about COVID last year.

This is your fault, by the way. You and Trump share equal blame for this because you lied about COVID, you repeated lies about COVID, and turned outbreaks into a pandemic.

This is all undeniably true, LV,
but it doesn't matter because none of their decisions were made in actual response to the covid crisis.

Everything they did, they did because that's what their side decided to do to contrast with us.

I can't speak for the trumpanzees of the BB brain variety;
they've devolved so far beneath humanity that we need to develop zoologist specialists to decipher that breed alone.

Even the trumpanzees with the somewhat larger fava bean sized brains, however,
had to know that social distancing and masks and vaccinations probably made sense.
These things were simply not included in their marching orders.

Ah, apologies.

I got you and Yakuda confused since you both look the same to me.

But I can pose the same question to you: would you flip burgers for $350K/year?

Possibly. You see, I'm not particularly motivated by greed so the pay alone might not be incentive enough to take the job.

You make it real easy to pull a trigger on a rotten fuck like you.

Only the government can do that

Hold on a second, because you said "just move" in response to high rent costs.

So, how does someone afford to move if they can't afford to live in the apartment they're in?

You probably have no experience with moving because you live the same house and place you were born and raised (SAD); but for those of us who don't permanently live with our parents, the costs and expenses of moving are even greater than simply not moving.

When you move, you need to pay for movers of course, but you also need at least a deposit (for the movers, not the apartment yet), you'll need the security deposit for the apartment, you'll also probably need first and last month's rent, you'll need to pay for a credit check, and all of this is moot if you can't even tour apartments in the place you're planning to move to because you can't even afford to travel there.

I don't expect you to really know about this kind of thing since you've lived in the same, sad place for your whole life.

Okay, so? Maybe employers should start telling their politicians to cut back on the welfare checks so people will get jobs. After all, that is who they are competing with here.

They're not welfare checks, they're unemployment checks, and they're unemployment checks because you cost them their jobs when you couldn't control the lies coming out of your mouth.

If half of America doesn't work, how is the economy being sustained?

:bigthink:

Loans from China...? It worked for Greece. Over half the population there is on the dole. They get their bailouts from Germany, but it's the same concept...

No, it's a problem with competition. The government is paying more than the employer is willing

Ah, so you're now ADMITTING that the employer is not paying market wages.

The value of labor isn't determined by the employer, it's determined by the market.

LMAO! Wow, you're dumb. This is why most businesses fail; the people who run them have no fucking idea what they're doing.

The government is paying more than the employer is willing

So right here is a confession.

It's a confession that the employers are not paying market wages.

They are not paying the true value of labor, they're paying what they are willing to pay.

So they're not paying people according to the value of their labor in the market, and you just made a big oopsie that killed your argument.
