In case you missed the epic pwnage

nice meadowmuffins.....it is not embarrassed about idealogy at all....it is you and your hack blame game...as if bush is responsible for everything negative and nothing positive...deregulation is not the sole cause, nor is there proof it is even a major cause of what happened....further, bush and other republicans as far back as 2003 warned you idiot dems that shit was going to hit the fan and all you guys, obama included, said oh no, you're just a bunch fear mongers....

so you can take your faux outrage and blame and pound sand

He is a complete hack, he has no choice but to try and blame everything on Bush. Because he knows the 'deregulation' that led to this was signed by his beloved Bill Clinton when Glass Steagall was eliminated. He also knows that the Dems were every bit the cheerleaders the Reps were for the 'more people own homes than ever before' crowd. He also knows that Greenspan was appointed by both Dem and Rep Presidents and it was Greenspan that decided to keep interest rates artificially low for several years that helped lead to the housing bubble. He also knows that it was tools of the Investment banks in both parties that tried to pretend nothing was wrong and thus they did NOTHING to alter what was going on in the mortgage/investment banking industries.

Further, he knows that even NOW, with a Dem controlled congress and Dem President that nothing of substance has been done to prevent this from happening again.

actually, you have to admire Democrats for their consistency.....I recall when Lay was running the energy junk bond scam during the Clinton administration and the Justice Department called him on it during the Bush years, even though he was convicted and jailed, Enron was Bush's fault because Lay was a contributor......then, when the Freddy/Fanny/AIG gang was doing the same thing with real estate junk bonds during the Clinton administration and the Republicans tried to rein them in and the Democrats blocked it....then, even though the guys in charge were supporters of Obama and Bush tried to bail them out, lo and behold....still Bush's fault.....consistency.....

Again, 4 years not 6.

For the first two years the Senate was controlled by the Ds, four years following both houses and the executive were R controlled, the last 2 years were D Controlled Congress.

Good call.

You're right. Bush was hardly responsible for anything that occurred during his Presidency. Why, he just happened to be there in the White House.

Poor guy.

LOL

It's good to see that you know when you've been identified as a complete Bush apologist.

That's a step in the right direction.

fixed

I am a complete hack..

So your contention is that there was a magical time when conservative ideologues were the vigorous protectors of consumer rights, when conservatives were enthusiastic regulators of capitalism, and when conservatives railed and screamed against the nonsense of corporate free trade schemes? For real?

I don’t remember that magical time. I remember lefty ideologues being like that, but not tighty rightys.

Wow, superfreak is back for ten minutes and he's already giving me neg reps, getting angry and emotional, and calling me a leg humper! LOL

Get a hold of yoursef.

Supertool, what the fuck are you talking about? I've never leg humped anything in my life. Every relationship and tryst I've had has been consensual. This is, perhaps, something you can't understand as a celibate, dateless, approaching middle aged gay conservative republican. Get a handle on your emotions and anger man.

now as for politics, I do think a lot of democrats drank the ronald reagan deregulation kool aid. I already said that.

I'm not talking about parties. I'm talking ideologies. The rightwing ideology is the one that came up with this bullshit deregulation crap. I'm not "sharing" credit with you or your ideology.

Awww... the poor little leg humper is getting overly emotional again. We both know who to ask about the leg humping. Feel free to do so.

The point you moron is you were once again trying to pretend this was a result of some Bush/conservative fuckup. Which is false. The point dear little retard is that you are such a hack you refuse to see that the myriad of events that led to this disaster were every bit as much from the left as that of the right.

Yes, the right does tend to believe in less regulation (note: not NO regulation) than the left. Just as the left was the primary force behind the efforts to force banks to lower credit standards all for the sake of being 'fair'.

But you are far too much of a hack to ever admit that it was both parties that helped create this mess. Instead you pretend that anyone who dares suggest that is the case must be trying to deflect blame from Bush.
