You didn't answer my question.

EXACTLY the point.
Yes, cops do indeed get brought up on charges for abusing their power. Does it happen every time they do so? no. Nor does every racist professor get arrested every time they go off on cops who are doing their job.
So you have never seen someone get arrested for disorderly conduct before?
the few times I have seen police officers actually charged with crimes have usually happened when the evidence is so overwhelmingly obvious that it causes an uproar with the people. Almost all other times, if it can be whitewashed over, it will be.
Somehow i doubt you see all of the charges brought against cops by civilians. In cases where they are just verbally over the line, they will probably receive no reprimand/punishment, just like this professor had the charges dropped.
When individuals get out of line, they tend to get arrested, arraigned, and then based on the individuals past, many times get released with the charges dropped.
this whole notion that you can behave in any manner you want without consequences towards police conducting an investigation is simply ridiculous.

This whole notion that you can be arrested for disorderly conduct in your own home for saying stuff to the police that they take offense to is simply ridiculous and has been rejected by the courts time and time again as ridiculous.
Bullshit, this is Ghestapo like. WTF he showed his ID after intially sticking out his chest and tossing the racist bomb.
The cop should have chilled and will be suspended for not doing so unless he appologizes.
dude....he was not in his home at the time of arrest...do you some other facts that you know about that the rest of don't?
Being rude to a cop is not a crime.
LMAO, so we have a black president , so that gives any black man the right to get shitty with the cops?
Hell I am white and have been detained for less shit than this, someone reported a break in , the cops did what they should of and if the guy had shut up and just showed his ID without showing his ass this wouldn't even of made the news
I deal with the police everyday, and it is yes sir /no sir, if they want my ID I show them if they ask my name I tell them, whether they are black or white
But I do agree with you , the cops will be suspended, cause of the situation not because they did anything wrong
Depends, give one the bird![]()
so you LIKE ghestapo type behavior.
No fucking crime was committed that's why he was let go.
