Kyle Rittenhouse deserves an award for his melodramatic performance on the witness st

People just saw him shoot a man. Then they saw him shoot a second man. If I was on my rooftop with my trusty ol' scoped rifle, would I be taking down an active shooter if I put one through his chest after he shot the second man?
you might be......that would be up to the government, and possibly a jury, to determine

Yes, they were all stupid. Stupid to be out there, stupid to be involved in it, stupid all around.
and I have never disagreed with this position

the feds get involved with drug cases because they usurped authority with the CSA......otherwise, they have no ability to control state/local law enforcement unless a judge orders it through a lawsuit or an accepted agreement with that law enforcement agency

if that is indeed the case, that puts Black in a world of shit

federalism would require the DOJ to file a lawsuit against the kenosha PD in order to do anything about a so called white supremacist angle.......unless the DOJ is ignoring the constitution........again
I don't know. Since the Insurrection, the militias have become a national terrorist threat...which explains why they've all gone underground or dissolved. DHS would be working it with or through the FBI.

Agreed that Black is probably in a world of shit. His testimony gave insights to his own case.

IDK. I just know that if there is a terrorist connection, however tenuous, between the Insurrection and both the Kenosha Guard and the Boogaloo Bois chapter, or any others, then it'd be the Feds investigating as part of a terrorist network. Not a civil action.

Even so, I'm curious why none of that came up at trial. Did I miss it when talking to the police? Other witnesses?

Kyle Rittenhouse's crocodile tears broke the internet Wednesday.
You are obviously completely unable to feel any emotion but hatred.
Mommy mommy they won't let me cross state lines with a gun to shoot People, sob sob boo whoo
Not why he was sobbing.
In a nauseatingly melodramatic performance he choked back snot as he appeared to sob about how he feared for his life the day he shot and killed two people at a Black Lives Matter demonstration in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
No emotion from you but hate.
Defense attorney Mark Richards tried to paint Rittenhouse as a misunderstood honorable, patriotic Boy Scout who simply liked to shoot guns.
...deleted photoshopped image...
There is nothing illegal about shooting guns.
There is nothing illegal about self defense.

Yea a couple of months later Kyle Rittenhouse hoists beers with Proud Boys at Wisconsin bar

Rittenhouse went to Pudgy's Pub in Mount Pleasant following his arraignment and while there he was seen flashing an "OK" hand sign associated with white supremacist groups.

At the bar, a group of five adult men reportedly serenaded Rittenhouse with a rendition of "Proud of Your Boy".

The song, initially written for the 1992 Disney movie Aladdin, has become an anthem for members of the Proud Boys.

Describing your badly photoshopped image doesn't change what it is.

Correct, but I think I'd have a good case. After all, I just witnessed him shoot down two unarmed men and believed he'd murder even more.

Unfortunately, Kyle's life will never be normal again. The same for those families he touched with his AR-15.

My wife, one of the best interrogators in the Army, very very good at reading people, is 100% sure that this was a performance.

It actually was not quality....it was poorly done.

I'd LOVE to have her in a poker game with me! I can make good money off of open bias like this!

disagreed. LA sheriff already knows he has a gang issue, but the feds cannot intervene........it's up to the state to deal with that.......not the feds.

Agreed that Black is probably in a world of shit. His testimony gave insights to his own case.
yeah, I would not want to be him

IDK. I just know that if there is a terrorist connection, however tenuous, between the Insurrection and both the Kenosha Guard and the Boogaloo Bois chapter, or any others, then it'd be the Feds investigating as part of a terrorist network. Not a civil action.
true, but they would have to provide an obvious and direct link, not some 'we THINK they are associated'.........otherwise we're all terrorists

Even so, I'm curious why none of that came up at trial. Did I miss it when talking to the police? Other witnesses?
looking at it strictly from the law/judicial point of view, without a direct causal factor, it wouldn't be allowed.........no evidence that involves the four individuals provides that link

At 17, how many schools had he been kicked out of for violent crimes? How many times did the police have to make him stop threatening people?

If he had been Black, he would have a long criminal record, but he burst into tears, and everyone forgave his little baby face.

Void argument fallacy. What crimes?

Correct, but I think I'd have a good case. After all, I just witnessed him shoot down two unarmed men and believed he'd murder even more.
you'd have to have a hell of a scope to see from start to finish..however, what if I was on the rooftop and shot the guy trying to hit kyle with the skateboard........i'm stopping a violent and possibly deadly assault, right? and then shot grosskreutz because he was pointing the gun at ritttenhouse..............

Unfortunately, Kyle's life will never be normal again. The same for those families he touched with his AR-15.
agreed on all counts

Any other El Trumpo moron that seeks the violent overthrow of the system should know that this is what it' s like to get caught;

Self defense is not overthrowing anything.

I hope that once this is over and he's acquitted, this kid sues all of them. including Joe Biden and every liberal news outlet that slandered him without viewing the facts.

"A spokesperson for Kyle Rittenhouse discussed the seventh day of the nationally-watched homicide trial in which the defendant took the stand and testified.

David Hancock slammed President Joe Biden on "The Ingraham Angle" Tuesday evening for casting Rittenhouse as a White supremacist in a tweet one year ago. "Don't forget the candidate for the U.S. president himself last year prior to the election called Kyle Rittenhouse a White supremacist. Joe Biden called him a White supremacist; that is appalling. I can't even gauge how wrong that is."

The spokesperson also blasted the media for getting the facts wrong about the Rittenhouse case.

"The media has been absolutely irresponsible and purely abhorrent with this entire situation. They are parroting the same false information time after time. They even do it to this day. No, he didn’t cross state lines with a weapon. That was known last year. Apparently, the media doesn’t care for accurate information. It’s appalling," he said. "It’s almost as if they don’t want to know the facts. Then they will have to stay the truth."

"I didn't do anything wrong. I defended myself," Rittenhouse said while on the stand. "I did what I had to do to stop the person who was attacking me."

Occasionally your drug addled brain comes up with a true statement.

LeBron James on Kyle Rittenhouse Crying During Trial: 'Man Knock It Off!'

Lakers star LeBron James weighed in on the video of Kyle Rittenhouse taking the stand during his murder trial Wednesday afternoon. James took to Twitter to comment on Rittenhouse's first public comments on what happened in downtown Kenosha, Wis., on Aug. 25, 2020.

James said that Rittenhouse must have eaten some Lemonheads—a popular sour candy—before taking the stand. He also noted that he didn't see any tears coming out of Rittenhouse's eyes.

Rittenhouse is on trial for killing two people and injuring a third during protests following the shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake, by a white police officer last summer.

Rittenhouse took the stand to explain what led to his shooting the first victim, Joseph Rosenbaum. He traveled from his home in Antioch, Ill., stating he wanted to help protect property from people protesting after the fatal shooting.

The judge eventually sent the trial to recess.

Rittenhouse, upon returning from recess, said that Rosenbaum had his hand on the barrel of Rittenhouse's gun. He said he shot Rosenbaum four times after being "lunged" at and that he was just defending himself. He reiterated that he brought the gun for his own protection.

The prosecution team argued that Rittenhouse was the one who created danger in the area by carrying a weapon and joining the heightened and tense situation among demonstrators.

Rittenhouse's trial continued Thursday morning. Judge Bruce Schroeder has expressed that it would be "ideal" if it could conclude by Friday.

Why? A hundred yard shot under street lights isn't bad. I think you'd have a tougher case than I.

Grosskreutz's mistake was hesitating.

A local gang is one thing, but the Mafia, MS13 or the Proud Boys are multi-state or may have cross-border connections. That's there the Feds come in. Not a lawyer, but I can see how a local LEO may contest through court jurisdiction in some cases. Based on the Drug War analogy, the Feds usually win on big cases like this.

The Kenosha Guard investigation might stay state, but any of the national militias involved would already be under investigation. Since there appears to be a strong tie between the Kenosha Guard and the Boogaloo Bois, maybe the Feds would take the whole thing.

BTW, the Judge in Kyle's case is an idiot. Maybe I just don't speak legalese but he doesn't understand technology.
