The courts have always been political. However, sometimes a judge turned out to be more progressive or less so when they got on the court than they thought Thy rightys took the chance out of the equation and have followed judges from law school on. They have them speak at federalist society functions. They help them get elected or get positions. They come in owing a debt.
This is not a supreme court like the others. Now we expect nominees to flat out lie. That is what the process has become.

Using your logic, why shouldn't a mother be able to kill a 2 year old when he or she becomes a financial problem or interferes with her social life? If inconvenience is the criteria for murder, why does it only apply pre birth?
 
There are two bodies involved...two hearts, two brains...the mother has the right to do what she wants with her own body but not the unborn baby who has rights too.

This will all be settled in a few months and I believe the right for a mother to murder her own child will be restricted...greatly.
