Can we be sure that this is not because NY is more corrupt and is admitting more people in return for government money?
I mean it is almost 2022, and we are where we are.
No, it's called math, dummy. My God, the ignorance is breathtaking.

If the vaccine slows hospitalization from COVID why does New York have 2 1/2 times as many hospitalizations per 100K cases as Florida does. New York is 71.5 % vaccinated and Florida is 63.1% vaccinated.
New York State
14-day change: 41% increase
Hospitalizations per 100,000 people: 20
71.5% vaccinated
Florida
14-day change: 21% increase
Hospitalizations per 100,000 people: 8
63.1% vaccinated
So they don't get hospitalized at the same rate? God you are a simpleton. The fact is Florida has a much lower percentage of vaccinated people AND they have fewer vaccinated people per 100,000 COVID cases. According to you they should have 15 times more hospitalization for about 8% of their unvaccinated population. NY 71.5% - 63.1 = 8.4%BECAUSE THOSE CASES ARE MORE MATURE YOU DUMB FUCK. Jesus Christ do we need to draw you a picture for everything? Seriously?

They don't like that trump lost. Had he won, after lying about the virus for a year, he would have been hawking the vaccine like it was named 'trump'.What's wrong w/ encouraging people to get a vaccine DURING A PANDEMIC?
The world is so upside-down right now. I never would have imagined that a vaccine for a virus would become so political, and that people would oppose it simply because they don't like the left.
Yep.Are you factoring in any other variables?
Yep.
Where? I don't see that in the data you presented.
What other variables are you factoring in to the calculations?
Its a state to state direct comparison. Now what excuse for the difference are you going to make? Florida obviously protects their more at risk populations than NY does. Who cares if the not at risk population catches and recovers from COVID. The virus is going to virus.Where? I don't see that in the data you presented.

So we need to treat them like lepers and keep them from participating in society. .
People that have had Covid and who have recovered have far superior immunity than vaccinated people. They should be bitching about those of us that have been vaccinated and want to participate in society with them. They should treat Cumfart like a leper. But you CANT, and there is the rub. You cant and you KNOW you cant and it drives you crazy. If anything we will keep YOU from participating in society. You are the one walking around with a disease spreading leaky vaccine in your body.

So, about that data. Where's the impact on mortality rate?
Hoax? Not exactly, I think it's a great big taxpayer funded kickback circle jerk.
You should have taken more time. The CDC is a political organization it is not following the science.False.

That took, what, two seconds?
Results SARS-CoV-2-naïve vaccinees had a 13.06-fold (95% CI, 8.08 to 21.11) increased risk for breakthrough infection with the Delta variant compared to those previously infected, when the first event (infection or vaccination) occurred during January and February of 2021.
The natural immune protection that develops after a SARS-CoV-2 infection offers considerably more of a shield against the Delta variant of the pandemic coronavirus than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, according to a large Israeli study that some scientists wish came with a “Don’t try this at home” label. The newly released data show people who once had a SARS-CoV-2 infection were much less likely than never-infected, vaccinated people to get Delta, develop symptoms from it, or become hospitalized with serious COVID-19.
More than 15 studies have demonstrated the power of immunity acquired by previously having the virus. A 700,000-person study from Israel two weeks ago found that those who had experienced prior infections were 27 times less likely to get a second symptomatic covid infection than those who were vaccinated. This affirmed a June Cleveland Clinic study of health-care workers (who are often exposed to the virus), in which none who had previously tested positive for the coronavirus got reinfected. The study authors concluded that “individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from covid-19 vaccination.” And in May, a Washington University study found that even a mild covid infection resulted in long-lasting immunity.....
Some large medical centers, like Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mich., have already announced they will recognize natural immunity for their vaccine requirements.

This likely goes right over your head, but here goes.
Florida had a 1,023% increase in Covid cases over the last week. Since these are BRAND NEW CASES none of them, or very few of them will have resulted in hospitalization AT THIS POINT.
New York had a 232% increase, meaning that most of New Yorks cases were older, and therefore more would have resulted in hospitalizations. It's logic and math. Of course the ratio of new cases to new hospitalizations will be much greater than Florida, because ALL OF FLORIDAS CASES ARE NEW. Get it, or do I need to draw you a picture?
