Why does Canada put up with the truckers?

You liberals love unions. Unions support liberals These truckers united and now you don't like unions. You people are so fucked up...

They are already in a Union, and that Union does not support them, their just dimwits pissed and crying cause they can’t get their own way

What law and how does that supposed law overcome their right to freedom of expression?

I think I’ve explained this twelve times now, municipal traffic laws, point of the thread is that the Gov’t doesn’t have to get tough one confront theses truckers, rather daily, twice a day ticket the hell out of them, when the fines start escalating, they’ll move

And, once again, no right is absolute, with rights come responsibilities, and here the truckers are breaking the law

You are not a Liberal, Quisling.

Left, Right, Blue, Red, or Purple, the fact remains, no right is absolute, with rights come responsibilities and consequences, and here the truckers are breaking the law
how about Trudeau stop demonizing the truckers and talk to them ?

They don’t have to be tough, just twice a day ticket them for violating municipal traffic laws, if it is like any other major city, traffic tickets aren’t cheap, and four or five days straight, twice a day will add up to a hefty sum, which sooner or later they will have to pay to renew their drivers license

And the clowns at the Detroit bridge, they are pissing off their fellow truckers who can’t get their goods across the bridge

That's a good idea. It might take a couple years, but as bench warrants get issued most of the truckers will eventually be caught and thrown into jail if they don't pay their tickets.

As is the common case, it's interesting to look around this forum and see the cultists complaining that inflation is Biden's fault and will hurt poor and average Americans while supporting the truckers who are disrupting the weakened supply chain and causing additional inflation. None of that even to discuss the direct loss of wages and economic output caused by the trucks parked in the middle of roads due to yet another misguided right wing temper tantrum.

can we assume that you wanted BLM and ANTIFA to be ticketed for each day of looting and vandalism which they considered to be demonstrating ?

You forgot to mention Obama's birth certificate, Hillary Cinton's emails, Hunter Biden's cocaine, and climate change science.

The have a right to protest - i dont know their law ( do they even have a Constitution?)
Trudeau call them every name in the book, so if they could get tickets they would

Trudeau is getting heat from his own party for calling them names and refusing to meet

Trudeau's own party is starting to turn on him over Covid restrictions

lawmaker from Justin Trudeau’s own caucus is accusing the prime minister of dividing and stigmatizing Canadians by politicizing vaccine mandates and Covid-19 restrictions.

Joël Lightbound delivered the stunning, scathing assessment Tuesday in Ottawa with the big rigs of the so-called Freedom Convoy just outside the door. The convoy protests against Covid measures have grabbed global attention and paralyzed the Canada’s capital city for more than a week.

Both the tone and the policies of my government changed drastically on the eve and during the last election campaign,” said Lightbound, who convened a press conference to deliver his message. "A decision was made to wedge, to divide and to stigmatize. I fear that this politicization of the pandemic risks undermining the public's trust in our public health institutions.”

Do they have a right to obstruct traffic?
