NEW YORK (AP) — A judge Thursday ordered President Donald Trump to pay $2 million to an array of charities as a fine for misusing his own charitable foundation to further his political and business interests.
New York state Judge Saliann Scarpulla imposed the penalty after the president admitted to a series of abuses outlined in a lawsuit brought against him last year by the New York attorney general’s office.
Among other things, Trump acknowledged in a legal filing that he allowed his presidential campaign staff to coordinate with the Trump Foundation in holding a fundraiser for veterans during the run-up to the 2016 Iowa caucuses. The event was designed “to further Mr. Trump’s political campaign,” Scarpulla said.

What does Hillary have to do with it? It is a constitutional right we should all support (whether Hillary or anybody else).
I support it. But it is what it is, a right to not incriminate oneself in a crime.
Yes, and for crimes for which you can be prosecuted. If you were already prosecuted for that crime and found not guilty or convicted you cannot plead the fifth because you cannot be tried for that crime again. O. J. could not use the 5th in the civil case against him.

Agreed, and sometimes because a person may have good reason because he was not involved in the crime.
I knew a guy who went riding around in a convertible that his friends stole. He asked them where they got the car and they said they "borrowed it." His lawyer told him if he knew that comment meant they stole it he would be charged. So, he just remained silent during police questioning and was not charged.
I saw one of those reality cop shows and they pulled over a male driver and his girlfriend passenger. The driver would not respond to their questions so they questioned the passenger. They simply asked her for identification and she informed them she just took a criminal justice class and learned she has a right to remain silent. They informed her she is required to present ID.
That was smart. Did the guy know it was stolen or not?
She was legally required to present id as that does not implicate her in a crime, but once pulled over you are in custody.
